Enjoy the final version of the Dark Temple !

Features :

-> 13 levels
-> 2 endings, one "normal" and a better one if you discover all secrets and treasures
-> 20 secrets
-> 9 skulls
-> 9 iron doors
-> 7 treasures
-> Boss fights, good stuffs and many enigmas
-> Food and alchemy !

IMPORTANT : always make a big save when you find a healing crystal, it could be usefull.. =)

NB : If you want an easy walk with an arrow and gps to indicate everything, if you want zero maze, zero enigma and no timing based challenges, do NOT play this mod, thanks... otherwise have fun =)

Ver 1.02

- Changed the enigma in lvl one so no one will face a bug where it's not possible to dodge the fireball

Ver 1.01

- More missile weapons and more arrows
- Some very minor changes / cleans in some enigmas
- The secret path door indicate the number of secrets per level
- Minor final fight balance :
- Wardens lvl 1 instead of 2
- Ogre lvl 3 instead of 4
- Goromorg still lvl 5

Ver 1.0 release !

- Small changes in every level, some enigmas are differents

Dark Temple
Haunted caves

- Two endings !

Ver 0.6

- Labyrinth level complete ! One level in two floors, corresponding to two dimensions of the same level. Switch between them and find the way out.
- Crypt level has some changes, the rock enigma is easier but a little longer.
- Prison iron door can now be opened.
- small modifications in every levels

Ver 0.5

- The Dark Prison level is complete
- New monster and stuff balance
- Mortar available in lvl 5, ingredients on all lvl ( only a few )
- Intro cinematics ! Well it's not incredible but its an improvement for the ambiance =)

Ver 0.4

- New balance, fights are faster
- New stuffs
- Lvl 4 completed !
- Minors changes in the 3 first levels, mostly for the Crypt and the rock enigma
- Iron door added on the lvl 3

Ver 0.3

- 3 Complete levels

So im stuck on the first trap...which is lame...i got the fireball to hit the ring and caused the latches to open and close as the (ice ball?) moves across it. I have started a split second before they close, and im fairly sure ive been ontop of the first one while its "still opeN" graphicaly but not mechanically...anyways...i can't get past it and no matter how quick i am i still fall to that secondary room.

can't figure out l6/l7. got all the way to the snails in the room and now im stuck. Can't find the blades or open the one steel door. Any help?

the opening and closing trapdoors are hard and raging and the place of the skull is vicious but thats very funny

Hello all !
This is a great mod, a true adventure, not too difficult, not too easy. Well done and thanks for the hard work.
Just a question : what is this stuff about a secret path that indicate how many secrets are discovered ? I ran from lvl 1 to lvl 9 (current) and I didn't saw any secret path or anything like this.

@Hououin - you have to start moving a split second before the first trap door starts to close then you can make it across, don't hesitate, just run.

I'm stuck on level 2 after the part with the snail, I've tried looking for a way to stop the trapdoors. There's no way for me to make it across them. (opening/closing sequence wont allow for it) Is the level bugged? I've heard others having this same problem. I checked for a walkthrough of this particular spot, but nobody has done it or didn't explain it. (ex; walk across the moving platforms) Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, I'm changing this enigma for a simpler one so there wont be any problem anymore =)
You need this and the "die" enigma to open the secret wall at the end of the corridor.

And for Mr Disaster, thanks but the 9th skull isn't a myth, I double checked =D There is a skull In every 9 levels ( I consider the temple and the haunted caves a single level ).

Stuck on lvl1 in the short corridor that has the fireball thrower. This is not the one off the starting room that solves the trapdoors, it's the other one up at the north end. I saw some posts here saying some people can't dodge it, well neither can I. Tried it loads of times and no way can I step on the pressure plate and dodge into the side corridor before getting hit by it.

Second problem, I do the lightening bolt thrower next to the "Die" wall text but the secret wall at the end of the corridor doesn't open. Seems like most people are getting through lvl1 OK so I'm kinda stumped here. Been playing Grimrock a whild, done the game, done a few mods, so not a noob but I guess I'll have to abandon this one unless anyone has any hints what's going wrong.
