>> Fits very well with Sebidee's unit mods and champLoo's Gold Compilation

Hi there, friends of Total War Rome 2!
I present you a small mod that adds 10 new special units to the game with focus on Germanic factions.

We all know there are hundreds of unit mods and even great ones like Sebidee's Unit Roaster Overhaul that adds units to almost every faction. But most of those mods don't provide individual units for minor factions like the goths. So here is the list of all units in this mod.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Noblemen's Housegard
This is a special unit for the goths which will be available as general bodyguard and in the bronze military building level 4. It's meant as precursor of the housecarl we know from younger ages. They have a unit cap of 12.

Noble Hunting Companions
A strong archer unit for the cimbri that can defend itself in battle, available as general's bodyguard and in wood military workshop level 4. I admid they are not 100% realistic but if you can endure it you will like them.

Germanic Giants
Well I don't like the English word "Giant" here but there is no better translation for the German "Hüne". So those warriors are some kind of "small giants" if you understand - they are much bigger then other men but not 4 meters. These giants fighters use a giant sling and can reach a higher range then smaller slingers of course with more damage because they use stones for giants ;). But don't worry they are not OP at all because I reduced their number and ammo. For melee fight they use clubs and axes and sometimes a shield. You won't kill them fast but elite units can beat them.
The Germanic Giants are available for Suebi and Frisii even as general's bodyguard and for cimbri just as normal unit but always with unit cap of 6.

Giant Spears
Another giant unit that uses spear and shield but no armour at all - except their giant skin. They can take some damage like a mixture of men and elephants but you don't need armour pearcing weapons. The best way to bring them down should be a missile attack from side or back. Oh and please don't send your elephants against them or what do you think will they do with their giant spears in front of such a poor animal?
Rugii and Lugii can have them as normal unit and general's bodyguard, goths may recruit them as normal unit only. They have a unit cap of 6 as well because there are not that many giants on earth, you know.

Marcomanni Giants
Special version of the Giant Spears with leather armour, available for Marcomanni only.

Slaughterers
Two-handed Axemen wearing a chainmail. They are available for Rugii, Lugii, Frisii, Cimbri and Gutones in bronze military building level 3 and 4.

Cimbrian Wise Warriors
Old Cimbrian Warriors that know how to use the Germanic spear in the right way. They are strong against cavalry and even charging infantry, but they will need support when fight goes on, because they are not the youngest ones. Available for Cimbri in Bronze Level 4 or tribal city level and as general's bodyguard.

Emasculated Warriors
Those naked warriors became emasculated for breakign holy laws against German gods. Normally they'd be punished with death but they get a last chance to die in battle. Of course they have a unit cap and are available for Rugii, Lugii, Frisii, Cimbri and Gutones in religious buildings level 3 or higher. In battle they throw javelins and then fight with their simple axes while scaring enemies because they don't use any clothing at all. As you can guess they are not hard to kill but they are cheap.

Semibarbarians
This is a simple mixted sword unit, I mean it has Roman, Greek and barbarian influences. Germanic, Celtic, Gallic factions may recruit them in large Roman or Greek Cities they captured before converting the city centre. You may find them in garrison of such captured cities as well.

Romanized Barbarians
Like the semi barbarian warriors these romanized axe fighters use a mixture of barbarian and Roman weapons and shields. The Roman Empire can recruit them in large barbarian cities before converting the city centre. Such a city will also provide a garrison unit of the Romanized warriors when controlled by Rome.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Compatibility
- compatible with almost every other mod
- save game compatible
- working on Grand Campaign, Imperator Augustus and Caesar in Gaul

This mod is - of course - supported by my NordoPic Unit Cards mod with 3D unit cards. I recommend to use it together.

If you experience any issues just write a command. If you like those units a positive rating would be kind ;-)

I found a problem. The problem was in this program Microsoft Visual C ++ 2015 x86. Somehow this program crashed. Thank you for your time and for trying to help me. Good luck. And I have a request to you. Could you draw the cards on the other Wolfman mod. Thank you so much.

I took a look into "Heroes of Rome" and could not find any conflict with "Germanic Units". I tested it and both work together. Something else must cause the problem, maybe another mod or do you have any unpacked files in your Rome II/data folder?

It was installed and worked normally, then came out some kind of fix and after that there is crash not in the game itself, but at the entrance to the list of "my own battle". I checked and the conflict occurs with Wolfmans "Heroes of Rome". Why this happens I do not know, maybe you can help.

Are you sure that this mod causes the crash? Maybe there is a conflict with another mod, because this one should work without problems.
I suggest to disable other mods to find out which mod causes the crash.

Hi. Thank you for what you're doing. I like your mod, but after the last fix, I crash. I can not choose "my own battle" because it leads to crash. Can you advise me what to do. I have proctically all your mods. Thank you.
