Information on my ChemFlare Addon:

This is my custom hand flare addon for arma 3 that i have been working on and off since December 2015. I have created the flare models and textures used in this mod, I am using the Chemlight particle effect for Illumination of the ChemFlare.

My ChemFlare comes in 5 colours. Red, White, Yellow, Green and Blue. The flares can be used by the Eden editor or Zeus (Module Flare), or can be used as a hand flare (Quick burn and Normal flare). The Flares no longer burns you and your friends, they are as cold as Tasmania! and the flares do work underwater. The Burnout effect is awesome.

(The Blue ChemFlare is my test flare nothing more or less.)


All Flare Times are subject to change.

Module Flare Last for 150 Minutes + 1 Minute of Burnout Effect.

QuickBurn Flare Last for 1 Minute + 1 Minute of Burnout Effect.

Hand Flare Last for 6 Minutes + 1 Minute of Burnout Effect.

I hope you guys enjoy this little mod i have made and please give me feedback on my mod as well.

ToDo:

- Change the Flare Spark Effects, Fire Effects and add New Flare Icons.
- Change how bright the Flares Light Illumination is.
- Fix the underwater bubbles effect to change to smoke once it hits the surface of the water.

**This mod took a long time to make so PLEASE DO NOT UNBIN my MOD or MAKE ANY CHANGES.

I guess the problem is inside this expression:

Nice mod! Thanks! One problem though: It spams an RPT error "Error during evaluation of expression _source->AccessSourceType()->_moveVelocity" Could you please fix this?

Hi Hudra, players get damage when walk near, in my mod player will be killed when touch lighten chemfire, i dont know why?any hit or damage confing in your mod?

@dougmiasdad Have you tried the mod without the other mod's loaded and is the flare mod loading at all? - Check the Main menu for added addons to make sure you are loading the mod's.

If its a file problem with my mod i am unable to fix it atm. The last time i updated the mod was 8th June 2017, So the new Arma updates after June 2017 could of killed my mod.

I am sorry that you are having problems with my mod. If you fix it please let me know.

Flares don't appear in my inventory?Only weapon mod I'm using is Breaking Point Weapons mod (by Tobias).
