LW Promotion Screen

THIS MOD IS DEPRECATED AND HAS NO ACTIVE SUPPORT OR UPDATES. USE ON YOUR OWN RISK!

Replaces the Vanilla Promotion Screen with Long War 2 Promotion Screen

The vanilla promotion screen only support two perk columns.

This is for non lw classes that have 3 perk columns and 7 ranks like RealityMachina's new Biotic Class.

Where is this different from LWPP or LW2?
It only adds the promotion UI from those, nothing else.

When should i use it?
When you want the UI from LW but you don't want to use LWPP or LW2.

Warning:
Alpha Release, i did not test this very much so there could be issues.
If you encounter problems please report them in the comment section.
Obviously don't use it together with LWPP or LW2 cause this causes mod conflicts and there is not benefit to do so.

I just extracted the UI and made some adjustment so it can run as a standalone mod.

Ah, thanks for explaining the non-existent Promotion issue, quinn_747. I was wondering about this as well. But I thought it was an issue with the Commander's Choice mod. Now I know where the problem lies! ;)

@LukWalk, it seems to be leftovers from the LW2 rank system, which uses one extra rank. I have the same issue with my vanilla and non LW2 custom classes.

At least I was able to ascertain it does not crash like I had feared in my earlier comment

for some reason on vanilla xcom all my bois that i brought to the mission keep getting promoted but no abilityes are available

I am trying this for samurai class, but without LW2. My vanilla classes keep getting the promote button when returning from a mission. Not sure how much of a problem this is yet, but it is annoying.
It crashed the first time I tried to go back to avenger without opening their promote screens. I have not tried to recreate this yet, but will give it a shot eventually.

Kind of weary to try this since I had that issue with the promotion thing when i had LWPP installed and it kept wanting to promote my soldiers to brigadier but wouldn't let me promote them...

yes this mod breaks PCS

to bad, since it is a very nice mod but can't use it with that nasty game breaking bug
