A custom Map made for quick tactical combat Duels.

Patched in preparation for a PvP Challenge held by Marcuspers and Hiliadan. Its still not quite finished and probably bug ridden, but ready for play- and balancetesting.

Feel free to add me for duelling ^^

Meaning? Cause last I checked, shadowborn and Peace keeper don't have any innate alignment spells. You'd have to use creation/destruction and a lot of it for it to work.

Is there a way to quickly get any particular alignment if you're roling with a shadowborn or peace keeper character?

What I meant is: how do you deal with Research? How do you control which spells are available? I think your map needs to be tweaked for the Challenge. Would you be interested to modify it? We would probably also need a mod to remove all units' upkeep for instance (which would allow a clean control of the value of armies: no gold income, no gold expense, you only buy units at Inns based on a total value of gold you have at the beginning).

@hiliadan Hey ^^ I wish you good luck with the Challenge.

Regarding Magic, I like to allow all global enchantments except for the final one (Global Assault, Age of Magic,..). During Combat, spellcasting can get out of hand quickly. Stunning an entire army for multiple turns, killing off anything below T3 with Earthquake and Buffstacking a unit to the point of invincibility are all things I encountered.

If you want a somewhat balanced playing field, you definitely need to restrict magic. Having one Hero unit per Army, limiting Casting Points and prohibitng the more powerful spells is what I would do.

How do you deal with spells? Could be interesting to add a strategic building where to buy spells. It seems like something similar is possible, check out the Army mod of Liberty Valance: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=521662792
We may use the map to organize a PvP Tactical Battle Challenge.

I have both DLCs, buut I subscribed from the grid and not from the actual workshop page. So it caused a Crash. Should be working fine now.
