Squad Size Upgrades for LW Toolbox

描述
This mod adds new GTS upgrades that interface with the Long War Toolbox to increase squad size up to the new max of 12. This mod requires the Long War Toolbox. It will not function without it.

The mod adjusts the number of Squad Size Upgrades and their rank requirements based on BaseSquadSize (default: 4 valid range: 4-9) and MaxSquadSize (default: 12 valid range: 8-12). Both can be edited in the mod's ini. Assuming a 12 man final squad: if you start with 4 man squad you'll get 8 upgrades, if you start with a 6 man squad you'll get 6, a 9 man squad gets 3, and so on.

All rank reqirements and individual costs of each upgrade can be customized via the ini: \Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\268500\734106349\Config\XComLW_SquadSizeUnlocks.ini


The Long War Perk Pack is highly recommended, but not required. Having rank 8 (Brigadier) gives you an extra rank to use for a squad upgrade. If you are not using the Long War Perk Pack set bPerkPackInstalled to False (default: True) in the ini.



NOTE: I have been unable to change the size of the squad durring the starting mission (outside of manually editting m_iMaxSoldiersOnMission in XComGameData.ini, which this mod does not do). This only affects the opening mission.

NOTE: Each upgade add's 1 soldier, this cannot be changed via the ini. However, multiple unlocks can be set to the same rank and thier cost split between them in the ini.

This should still work assuming you are running LW Toolbox, since neither that nor the game have been updated, but I have not tested it myself.
It will not work in WoTC since, as far as I know, there no WOTC version of LW Toolbox.
This mod was never designed to work with LW2. LW Toolbox is not cross compatible with LW2.

This is a mod is for the Long War Toolbox, did this ever work for LW2? The command used by this mod to increase squad size is specific to the toolbox, I don't even know if it exists in LW2.

Doesn't seem to function correctly with LW2 version 1.5 anymore. Upgrades are available to purchase, but extra slots are not unlocked.

Only the basic italic, bold etc. seem to work in these default comment threads. In separate Discussion threads I can use Code and Quote tags.

NStriker is doing unofficial WotC updates to the LW mods, don't know if he plans on trying to update the Toolbox or not.

If and when the Toolbox gets updated, whether officially or unofficially, I will update this for compatibility.

That's something for Pavonis Interactive, they haven't announced anything about their mods and WoTC. Check their forums though.
