Squad Size Upgrades for LW Toolbox

This mod adds new GTS upgrades that interface with the Long War Toolbox to increase squad size up to the new max of 12. This mod requires the Long War Toolbox. It will not function without it.

The mod adjusts the number of Squad Size Upgrades and their rank requirements based on BaseSquadSize (default: 4 valid range: 4-9) and MaxSquadSize (default: 12 valid range: 8-12). Both can be edited in the mod's ini. Assuming a 12 man final squad: if you start with 4 man squad you'll get 8 upgrades, if you start with a 6 man squad you'll get 6, a 9 man squad gets 3, and so on.

All rank reqirements and individual costs of each upgrade can be customized via the ini: \Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\268500\734106349\Config\XComLW_SquadSizeUnlocks.ini


The Long War Perk Pack is highly recommended, but not required. Having rank 8 (Brigadier) gives you an extra rank to use for a squad upgrade. If you are not using the Long War Perk Pack set bPerkPackInstalled to False (default: True) in the ini.



NOTE: I have been unable to change the size of the squad durring the starting mission (outside of manually editting m_iMaxSoldiersOnMission in XComGameData.ini, which this mod does not do). This only affects the opening mission.

NOTE: Each upgade add's 1 soldier, this cannot be changed via the ini. However, multiple unlocks can be set to the same rank and thier cost split between them in the ini.
