Selemene the Goddess of the Moon has shed only 3 tears in her existence which coalesced into crystals of power.

The first was at the sight of the sun on her first dawn.
The second was upon the death of Verodicia, Goddess of the woods.
The third was with pride for her servants the moon rider and princess of the moon in battle together.

The guardian of the Nightsilver Woods has been in moarnful sleep since the passing of Verodicia.
Many have tried and failed with gifts to awake the guardian. For it is only with the tears of a god that the guardian will stir from his slumber to once again stalk the NightSilver woods.
