Description
This is a companion mod for my Techtree Overhaul mod, meaning it requires Techtree Overhaul to be enable too as it adds onto it. The biggest thing that makes it different than other mods that flesh out this era is that it is designed to be in the same format, and hopefully balanced, as the other eras.

Adds 10 new techs (including revamped Cold Fusion and Nanotechnology) with appropriate units, buildings, and projects for the Future Era. The units use plasma shots, railgun rounds, missiles, and bombs. Also adds two new resources: Deuterium and Fusion Cells, replacing Uranium and Oil, respectively.

--Compatibiliy--
-Requires at least v10 of my Techtree Overhaul mod, which requires G&K and BNW.

--Known Bugs--
-No nuclear explosion special effect after using Fusion Bomb (purely cosmetic, not noticeable if Quick Combat is enabled). Still investigating, but if anyone knows how to trigger the effect or attach it to a custom unit, please let me know.
-Drone Fighters and Bombers' bombing animations are a little wonky (purely cosmetic)

-The new techs' quotes are mostly from brainyquote
-Hovercraft (F-117) is by Nautil, Drone model is by Ekmek, Fusion Sub (Kilo) and Drone Carrier (Amphibious Assault Ship) models by TheCoyote, and GDR & Modern Armor reskins are by Civitar. All on CivFanatics.
-Railgun Cruiser/Destroyer model is from Bouncymischa's Future Worlds mod

Just open the zip file and copy/paste or move the folder inside to your Civ 5 Mods folder alongside your other mods and it should appear in your mod list in game.

Note: The screenshots are only with this mod, Techtree Overhaul, and CivFanatic's bc1's EUI UI mod enabled. My other mods which alter the tech tree fill it out more. Ex: Better City Defenses, Early Production Fix, Better Resource Buildings, Hardwood Resource, and Water Tiles Enhanced.

I found a conflict with your water tiles mod. When I activate these 3 mods (Techtree Overhaul -Real Future Era - Water Tiles Enhanced or Improvements in Water Tiles), technologies display seems not to be working anymore.
It displays TXT_KEY_<Name of the technology> instead of showing directly the name of the tech, and below every tech it displays TXT_KEY_TECH_HELP.
Any idea to solve this problem ?

UPD: Find conflict with anoter mod - Civ Advance . Replace Heavy Water Plant & Refinery for another building. Disable last one, clear cashe and ModUserData holder. Enjoy this mod. Sry for Eng, not my native langue

How do I acquire a Fusion Cell in game? Not sure whether it needs to be on a land tile or sea tile etc. Or whether to mine it? Ive tried pretty much everything.

The mod works on its own, but if I try to add additional Era mods it'll say TXT_KEY_ERA_8 Instead of Future Era and it won't give tech past the Atomic Era.
In addition, it's making every civ start with a Mech Soldier unite in the Instead of Future Era Ancient Era.
I don't have these issues with not adding other mods though. So I think I'll need to find another future era mod for the game play I'm looking for sadly.

@TofuSojo With the techtree overhaul mod, it changes the research areas to other places (Nuclear Power in Modern Era, Industirialization in Renaissance, etc.) Is it supposed to do that?
