ADVENT Ascension is a mod built to reinforce the alien hybrid forces of ADVENT with new soldiers with new abilities and stats, so that XCOM will learn to fear the "peaceful" solutions of the ADVENT Coalition. This mod at this very moment adds in new enemy types, not tweaked current enemies, but actual new enemy templates!

These new enemies bring a different kind of variety to the mix, new abilities, stat, and equipment combinations that makes each trooper a unique experience

Every implemented unit has a brand new rextexture so that you know which unit is which if you know the colors

Right now there are 17 types of troopers, but I plan on making tons of enemy types for a long time so please bear with me. The list of enemies are in the discussion tab

The ones implemented are:

Ironblood - Grey Trooper
"Not only do we fight to protect the people, we also fight to protect ourselves"
Heavy plated troopers that rivals the thickest of Sectopods, slightly better stated than Troopers

Dead Shot - Green Trooper
"We will never miss those who wish to harm our new way of life"
High chance of hitting targets for low damage

Lightbringer - White Trooper
"We bring new light to those who wish to stay in the dark"
Throws flashbangs

Speedhunter - Blue Trooper
"We will find the enemy and we will find them swiftly"
Chasing unit, built to chase down running enemies

Fringe Patrol - Brown Trooper
"We are always under high alert for any who dares disrupt our peace"
High detection radius, to counter XCOM sneak attacks

Sidestepper - Indigo Trooper
"We must evade the mistakes of the old world"
High dodge chance

Armortrifter - Teal Trooper
"The fringe elements always find a way to pierce our hearts, so we must pierce theirs"
Pierces through the toughest of armors, making them valuable against heavy foes

Venomspewer - Purple Trooper
"Do not listen to the lies our enemies wish to poison you with"
Shoots poison and gas grenades

Infernoblast - Bright Red Trooper
"The firey passion of ADVENT will save the entire world"
Shoots fire/flamethrower and flame grenade

Bushwhacker - Khaki Trooper
"Our enemies can not stand the power of the peace we created"
High chance of critical hits, dodges shots well

Echogunner - Green Camo Trooper
"We must defend ourselves when threatened"
Constantly overwatches, fires when the enemy does an action

Acidtrigger - Yellow Trooper
"Our new hope will melt away the trapping of the old world"
Shoots acid and acid grenade

Crimsontank - Red Shieldbearer
"We have given been given better life through the Elders"
High health to absorb attacks, lower chance to hit

Site Vandal - Urban Camo Trooper
"Our new way of life uncovers the failings of the past"
Destroys the cover of enemy units

Death Ageis - Purple Trooper
"We will never give in to the past world"
Has Stasis

Plate Bastion - Black Shieldbearer
"Let ADVENT protect you from all harm"
High armor, but low health

Worldwrecker - Yellow Shieldbearer
"We will pave the way for a better future"
Throws grenades quickly and dangerously

If you use any other mod that edits the Global ADVENT inclusion list, it will overlap this mod. Please check with your other mods that edits or adds in new ADVENT soldiers, aliens are fine

If you are talking about a Better ADVENT then my troopers will be extremely rare due to the way that mod spawns captains, in fact that mod make all other unit mods extrememly rare. Mine however only applies to ADVENT so Aliens should be fine

Never mind, just read your description...it does seem like it'll conflict with SOLDIER additions but not aliens...

Will this mod work with the other ADVENT enemy mods, such as the other ADVENT soldiers and Mutons?

OMG make my life even harder! Tonight I had a pod of 6 faceless, 1 sectoid and 1 lingering Advent. It was a comm relay defence mission. Most of my guys nearly died there! If one of the Advents would call backup it would prolly mean game over for me!

Coul you by any chance incorporate the reinforcement part dmfrom the other mod? It would be so cool to fight your guys wiec double pods AND spawning additional reinforcements!

The size of the mod is NOT due to a shader file, it is due to the excess textures that I left in the files for easy download when I update the mod. Though at this rate, I may remove those excess textures and add them in as the units are being created. it should drop the dl time by half

@mirage yeah I know, but I also know 1.3gig most likely points to the bugged shader file ;)

Put this on my fav list and will track it for next play though :)
