Full Character Customization From Start

Description
Howdy great peeps,

This mod unlocks full character customization at all ranks.

So in short, no longer do you need to level up your characters to a certain rank in order
to fully customize them (such as their attitudes, several hairstyles, armor patterns & more).

This mod is fully savegame compatible.
It won't disable achievements.
It works with War of the Chosen.

Kind regards & enjoy,
Dukhat

If you have any questions, comments or requests, place them in the comment section.

Edit: Because it was asked several times who the character is,
the face itself is "Face 3" from "Race 3" (with a light skin tone).

Do keep in mind that with this mod active it changes the mission where the Avenger crashes,
it will allow any random character to come out as opposed to only allowing veteran characters.

As far as I am aware, no. This just unlocks customization at rank 1,
but apparently in War of the Chosen this ability you already have.

Is this the mod that unlocks central's hair?

Yup

Changing the ‘veteranSoldierRank’ in DefaultGameData.ini also does this? Is that just the same thing that this mod does?

It does: "Do keep in mind that with this mod active it changes the mission where the Avenger crashes, it will allow any random character to come out as opposed to only allowing veteran (leveled up) characters."

@Devonax Sweet! That doesn’t affect gameplay, right?

It is a vanilla character face, it is "Face C" from "Race 3" (with a light skin color).

Is that one of the vanilla character faces in the pic, or a new one? If new, can you tell me where you got it from?

Thnx Devonax, that worked like a charm! :gwent_love:

Just so you guys and girls know (who are complaining this mod doesn't work), you can get the same result by editing the .ini file.

For Legacy (standard XCOM2):
Steam\steamapps\common\XCOM 2\XComGame\Config\DefaultGameData.ini

For WOTC:
Steam\steamapps\common\XCOM 2\XCom2-WarOfTheChosen\XComGame\Config\DefaultGameData.ini

THEN:
Find "veteranSoldierRank" which has a =3 behind it. Just change this to =0 and save.. That's it, you are done..

Now when you play / start new game, you have all fashion stuff unlocked from the start.
