Sans, everyone's favourite skeleton friend from indie rpg Undertale, now available for you to animate into compromising positions!


Sans comes rigged and has a variety of facial expression flexes and eyeball options available depending on whether you're looking for 'your best friend' Sans or 'your best nightmare' Sans. His textures were painted with the intention of being unlit, so he tends to look best with no lighting.

Update also comes with a couple of misc tweaks, wrists are deforming better and bone alignment issue has been fixed.

Q : How do I change his eyes/where are flexes located?
A : His blue eye is a bodygroup option. Select 'none' for the eye bodygroup and his glowing eye will be hidden. If you want no eyes, just move them back into his head to hide them. The eyes are under 'Unknown.'
Almost all the flexes are also under unknown except for the eye squint options which are under Face. idk either. All flexes have right/left options.

Q : He's too tall.
A : My intention was to have his height be realistically relative to other models including any future Undertale models I'll be releasing. If you're not happy with his height it's easy to edit his proportions in-engine just by playing with the rig and squashing areas up.

Q : He's not fat enough.
A : Well, he's a skeleton so I decided not to interpret him as very chubby, instead stout. The ingame sprites never really imply that he's fat and I decided to go with that.

Q : Sans wears sneakers.
A : Only in the Steam art. Other official art has him wearing slippers and his battle sprite also implies slippers. There are lots of inconsistances across his sprite and official art and I decided to choose the slippers option because it's the funniest and best known interpretation.

Q : He's too realistic/doesn't match the sprite/doesn't fit my image of Sans/I don't like how he looks
A : This is obviously not a vertex-by-vertex match to his in game sprites. This is my interpretation of Sans and how I decided to adapt his low detail/low resolution sprites into a stylized model while still trying to keep what makes Sans Sans and have him look cool. If he doesn't match your interpretation of the character that's fine. Don't use the model.

Are you in the right timeline mode? Are you selecting his entire body or just his rootTransform?
