Warbros ModLabs Sparky MkII 1.187.088 Update

Description
Warbros ModLabs brings you [s]three[/s] SIX simple respawn ships that have basic necessities covered without being "overpowered".

UPDATE: Gave the P Sparky more atmospheric lift. She'll be fine up to 1.25G now. Also made her spawn properly when used in "Star System" settings.

Content: 6 different Sparky MkII Respawn Ships - see screenshots. Combat, Exploration, Mining, Planetary Landing, Solar, Worker.
Status: It just works.
Useable: I am sure you can come up with lewd things, you dawg.
Sources: The tap in the wall is a good source of drinkable water.
Concepts: I tried chalk on blackboard, but the dust ruins my clothes.
Software Used: Yes. I used software.

Description: Based on the original by Gontiru, the Sparky, this brings you some one-size-fits-all respawn ships. Meant to supply players with either a group or alone on servers with the means to survive and expand, these ships are an up-to-date version of it's venerated, yet outdated predecessor. Enjoy your first steps among the endless expanse of the void.

Thanks to Dima for making the design on the combat variant, the "Sparky MkII-L".
Thanks to Denorra for making the design on the exploration variant, the "Sparky MkII-X".

DX9/DX11 Status:
We are in the post-planets era. Any mod you see released by me is DX11 and usually still supports DX9, but if one of those is not working right, it is DX9. DX11 is what I focus on, as any modder worth his salt should. Please don't ask "Is this DX11 compatible?". Yes it is. I am not going to release a mod that I cannot use myself, and since I run a server with planets, that means DX11 is always gonna work. If anything DX9 users might sometimes not luck out. But DX11 will always work.

Donations:
If you think that the hobby work of some people unhappy with the vanilla game needs to be paid, despite them doing it mostly for themselves anyway, please click here for a moment of appreciation: PayPal (no seriously, click that link to see our variety of donation options. You might be surprised.)

Now, if you want still want to support what my numerous buddies and I are doing, we have set up a patreon[www.patreon.com]. If you want to make this game a little less of a financial toll me, feel free to shoot me some shekels. Keep in mind though, I am not asking anyone to do so. The patreon is for the players who play on my server, but I won't say no to anyone feeding me a buck to help pay for that thing. Just be aware that I won't be able to deliver the rewards if your not playing on my box. You should still click that PayPal link, though. I like that link. Come on. Just click it. Just once. Do it.

I like orange juice, but I am all out.

The author isn't always the most pleasant to talk to, what with saltily insisting that Keen deliberately sabotages/sabotaged their multiplayer, but they do a good job at ship design, something I can't lay claim to.

Seeing this updated again, hopefully Steam will allow it to frontpage on the mod workshop for newer players/those who never saw it when it was going strong to try; the design effort deserves that much.

I'll check that.

Don't think Sparky-P has enough atmospheric thrusters as it ends up hitting terminal velocity and explodes on impact and not much else.

Not that anyone new will find this, but I have updated the mod with three new Sparkies. Enjoy.

1463250867 is the number of this mod. You can see it in the top of the Steam Browser here.

Potentially stupid question, how exactly do i identify this mod in the folder? Most of them are listed as just a sting of incomprehensable numbers rather than mod names

Make a ship in creative.
Aim at it.
Ctrl+C.
Open the F10 menu.
Export clipboard.
Go into that file.
Change RespawnGrid to Yes.
Save.

Open this mod (*.mod files are just zips).
See how the file structure is and how respawn ships are referenced.
Replace or add your ship in the sbc file.
Save.

Load mod.
Done.

Nice set of spawn ships,By any chance could you link me to an up to date tutorial for how to edit respawn ships? I'd like to set up one of my own but I couldn't find many recent tutorials, the old one i used didn't seem to work, I suspect definitions had changed since it that guide was made

Wishy, I checked the mod, and it works without a hitch, both by itself and in a server environment with dozens of other mods present. Feel free to publish your gameworld on the workshop and link me, I can take a look.

But, I am almost 100% certain this is not an issue on my end.

Blueprints coming soon.
