How to beat Mouselag and low FPS challenges :)

Gehe zu: C:\Benutzer\DeinName\Dokumente\My Games\Fallout4.

Öffne die Fallout4Prefs.ini und ändere:

iPresentInterval=1
zu
iPresentInterval=0


Noch dazu:
bForceIgnoreSmoothness=0
zu
bForceIgnoreSmoothness=1


Um Sicher zu gehen, ändern wir den iPresentInterval auch bei der Fallout4.ini.

Am besten aktiviert ihr nun mit einem Rechtsklick auf die Ini Dateien, den Schreibschutz.


Jetzt klickt ihr Rechtsklick auf euer Nvidia Logo (sofern Ihr auch NVIDIA nutzt) unten rechts auf dem Desktop.

Dort auf "3D-Einstellungen verwalten".

Fügt nun "Fallout.exe." hinzu unter den "Programmeinstellungen".


Nun, wenn ihr es angewählt habt, wählt Ihr folgendes:

Dreifach Puffer: Ein
Maximal Anzahl der vorgerenderten Einz..: 1
Verticale Synchronisation: Ein

Mit diesen Einstellungen läuft es auf Max. mit FXAA bei mir mit einer 980er GTX mit ca. 80 - 120FPS (120HZ Monitor) ohne Mauslag, Tearing etc.

Go to C:\Users\yourusername\Documents\My Games\Fallout4.

Open Fallout4Prefs.ini and then change:

iPresentInterval=1
to
iPresentInterval=0


Also change:
bForceIgnoreSmoothness=0
to
bForceIgnoreSmoothness=1


To be sure, you should also change the iPresentInterval in Fallout4.ini.

Its recommendet to activate the "Write Protection" by right clicking on the Ini Files. Choose Propertys and then click "Write Protection".

Now, if you are using a NVIDIA Graphics Card do the following:


Go to your Desktop, right click the Nvidia Logo at the lower Right of your Desktop.


Choose "System Settings" or whatever it is in your Language :)

Now go to "3D Settings" and Add Fallout.exe to your Programs.


There, you turn "Triple Buffer" on.
"Max frames render ahead" to 1.
And finally "V-Sync" on.

Thats it...

With this Settings the Game runs at Max Settings and FXAA with 80 - 120FPS (120HZ Display) and no Mouselag / Tearing etc for me. I run it with a NVIDIA 980 GTX.

For those who don't even trust links that aren't masked and are obviously from nexusmods: you can search for "high fps physics fix" in the fallout 4 category on nexusmods

You want the framerate to match your monitor's refresh rate, but pyhsics to be at the speed of steady 60fps as intended by the devs? This mod is the best fix. Only issue I have is fps being locked at about 30 while lockpicking for unknown reasons, but I get 144 fps all the time without any lags, stuttering or physics issues and don't even have to edit .ini-files.

hat sich was in den ini Dateien geändert?
Hab keine bforceignoresmoothness

Ich hatte anfangs beim Spielen über 100 fps. Dann auf einmal draußen nurnoch 40-50.

Hab dann die ipresentinterval auf 0 gesetzt. Und hatte beim ersten Start hunderte fps, und beim Zocken dann so 80-100. hab mich gefreut und versucht auf extrem zu stellen, und dann hatte ich wieder nur 40 im Game und auch seltsamerweise im Hauptmenü. Und nun bekomm ichs nich mehr auf 100 auch nicht auf niedrigen Einstellungen.

Hat jmd nen Plan was da los ist ?

es gibt wohl einen bug der dazu führt dass man in den terminals beim verlassen hängenbliebt sobald man mehr als 100fps hat. ich habe es gefixed indem ich die max fps auf 98 fesgesetzt habe

there is a bug that will get you stucked on the terminal when you leave it, it occurs when your fps is over 100. i fixed it by setting the max fps to 98
