Description
When in need of resources you could always mine a nearby asteroid, OR you could canibalize your conquered enemies! The 'Welan' utility drone is designed to do the latter and then use these resources to repair your ship back to combat readiness.

With only one grinder and one welder, it is primarily designed to do simple maintainance and combat repairs on ships on patrols. Its small frame and top mounted connector makes it compatibale to be carried in all T.N.F. drone bays. For example, it can be carried by Tyrant Strike Carriers.


General characteristics:
-Crew: 1x Drone Pilot
-Length: 6,5 m
-Width: 3,5 m
-Height: 3 m

-1x welder
-1x grinder

Features:
-Top mounted camera to aid docking
-Top connector
-Emergency parachute hatch
-Survival ready

-None at the moment.

No, it only works in space and in zero gravity, due to its ion engines. If you want an utility drone that is somewhat reliable in atmosphere, try the 'Janus': http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=831117327

is this usable in atmosphere? I tried to use it on a survival planet and the drone would not lift off the ground.
