Retractable Glass Bridge & Door (DX11)

After so many years I don't even have any of the tools and plugins needed to make mwm files from fbx files. I don't even remember all the quirks related to exporting parts of hangar doors which I remember were quite special. Even more so if you wanted people to be able to walk on it...

Since I don't really play Space Engineers anymore and basically only take care of my scripts for quite some time, I would be happy to leave it for you (or someone else willing to do it) to take care of this completely if you manage to get the models working.

I see your roadblock. Converting .mwm file back to .fbx seems to be hard to achieve. I've spend about an hour on it, and will spend more later. I've sent you a friend request so I can link you the files when I figure it out. I actually don't have expertise in this at all, but my goal is to be able to open the models in blender, and hopefully you can take it from there.

It's weird that a game as modable as SE doesn't give you a way to revert files from their game-ready state in the sdk

That's not how it works. Anyway - it's a lot of work to make and maintain models based on hangar doors like this one and I don't plan to do it again from scratch as I already have other interesting (at least for me) things to do.
If you know how to "rip the models out of this one and rebuild it" feel free to do so yourself I will happily give you my permission to use it.

You've had a long time to rip the models out of this one and rebuild it. Why haven't you? I keep this one subscribed in the hopes that you might fix it one day.

I'm sorry about that - it's my fault when I replaced PC I lost the original files.

It had not been updated since 2015, do you expect it will ?

The hitboxes for the bridges are strange, when walking on the underside, players sink halfway through the model. If you drive a rover onto the underside, you shoot off into the sky, When attempting to walk overtop of it, you are blocked, when you jump onto it, you float half a block above the bridge. This is one of my most favorite mods of all time, please fix.
