How to make reinforced Concrete
By Kickz
In this guide I'm showing you how to make reinforced concrete using the new concrete path system implemented in Alpha 10 along with some personal thoughts on using it.

Some knowledge of some basics is assumed but if you want to see a guide on something else, please let me know and I see what I can do.

This guide is Alpha 10.4 B10 compatible and will be updated as changes are made to the way reinforced concrete is made.

How to make reinforced Concrete - Video
This is the Video version of this Guide and contains a lot more than just showing the making of reinforced concrete but also goes over how to use it when building more complex structures due to the low structural integrity of the in-between stages.

How to make reinforced Concrete - Text
Summary

Reinforced Concrete is made by upgrading Rebar Frames

Rebar Frame

A Rebar Frame is made by placing 8x Short Metal Pipes into your crafting window like this:

Short Metal Pipes are made by placing Forged Iron into the crafting window which in turn is made by placing Iron Ingots into the crafting window.

Level 1 Upgrade

Place the Rebar Frame at the desired location.

Ensure you have at 2x Wood Planks in your inventory.

Using any of the valid upgrade Tools, such as the Clawhammer , Nailgun or similar simply click the Rebar Frame , which will use the 2x Wood Planks and upgrade the Rebar Frame to the level 1.

You will see that the block now has a wood finishing.

Level 2 Upgrade

Now you need Concrete Mix , which is made by placing 1x Gravel and 1x Cement into the crafting window like this:

Gravel can be obtained in several ways, one of which is by placing a Cement Block into the crafting window.

Cement is made by cooking Stone , Small Stone , Gravel or some other valid items in a Forge using a Cement Mold

Ones you made it, place the Concrete Mix into your toolbar, just like any other tool.

With the Concrete Mix in your hand, click the, already to level 1 upgraded, Rebar Frame which will now be upgraded to level 2.

You will now see the wood finish on the block surrounded by a dark "wet" border to indicate that the Concrete Mix was successfully poured.

Level 3 Upgrade

The final level requires nothing on your part. Simply wait a few minutes and your wet wood like looking block transforms by itself into Reinforced Concrete

As mentioned earlier, when building with Reinforced concrete be careful how you place them as Rebar Frame has a much higher structural integrity than the in-between stages before the block is Reinforced concrete , which can cause your structures to collapse.

See the video version of this guide above for details on that.

Hey @Mannis :)

I only write them as I find the time and there is not a lot in 7DTD at this time which requires a guide. Ones A11 hits there might be more need again :)
