Description
As I've promised in my earlier mod, S2TW Artillery Unit Pack, I shall make Nanban Trade Ships recruitable not only for Catholic Clans. Well, guess what: it took a year to get my lazy ass start working. But in the meantime, I decide to expand that mod to be more than a merely unit unlocker.

This mod is a Tie-in with the S2TW Artillery Unit Pack, it offers Naval Overhauls, with several new Units added.

NAVAL ASPECTS OVERHAUL

- S2TW Ships Sinking Threshold Overhaul - Sinkable Ships
After the latest Patch, wooden S2 ships became stupidly hard to sink, even after taking tons of shots from European Cannon Galleons. With this mod, they should be sinkable again.

- Sailing Ship Wind Cooficients Overhaul - Sailing Ships would not sail against the wind.
Ever seen a Sengoku Bune chasing your ship against the wind at 20+ m/s like a speedboat? Now Sailing Ships would actually need wind; So, you will actually need to think about the Wind Direction. Full Speed could only be achieved by Wind Astern.

- Third Person Shooting Mode for Carracks, Caravels, and Cannon Mekurabune.
Yes, You can now shoot your ship cannons manually. Use WASD to direct ship's movement. Cannon Bune could even reverse.

- Chain Shot, Grape Shot, and Heated Shot for Ship Cannons
Yes, Alternate munition type from the old ETW-NTW are back. All Cannon-armed ship can use Grape Shot; Nanban Ships can use Chain Shot, and Japanese Mekurabune can shoot Fire Bolts.

- Additional Abilities
Banzai for Medium Bune, Wako Ships, and Sengoku Bune
Flaming Arrows for Heavy Bune, Sengoku Bune, and Nihon Maru.
Rally for Nihon Maru
Whistling Arrow for Heavy Bune, Wako Ships, Sengoku Bune, and Nihon Maru

- Ramming Attack for some ships
Do not actually sink ship, only gives short burst of speed, as no S2TW ships have underwater ram.

- Sailing Ships now have longer Campaignmap Range compared to Oared Vessels.
Oared Ships are notorious for their short range, mostly for the need of supplies to support the oarsmen.

- Morale Overhaul
Base Morale are set higher, and Retreating ships are easier to rally then get back to battle. However, Moral Hits and Shocks at 60% Casualty are more severe.

-Red Seal Ship Cannon
Red Seal Ship now carries 8 Cannons onboard, transforming them from overpriced Trade Bune no-one bothered to use, into effective Mini-Caravels wothy to be called the pinnacle of Japanese Naval Tech Tree

- Wako Medium Bune and Wako Trade Ship are Recruitable
Need Pirate Lair Province Specialty Building.

- European Ship Crews use Straight Swords rather than Katana
- The Black Ship, Nanban Trade Ship, Red Seal Ship, Trade Ships, and Wako Ships are Playable in Custom Battle.
- Increased Unit Cap for Cannon Bune and Fire Bomb Kobaya to 10.
- Matchlock Marines replacing Archers for O Ataka Bune.
- Heavy Matchlock Gunners replacing Archers for Red Seal Ships.

- Differing Types of Shipboard Cannons.
In Vanilla S2TW, all Black Ship and Nanban Trade Ship Cannons are the same. Now, it it differs depending on deck placement.
Black Ship have 16 Demi Cannons, 4 Saker, and 4 Falconet.
Nanban Trade Ship have 8 Demi Culverin and 2 Saker.
Cannon Bune have 8 Kouhou.
Red Seal Ship have 8 Falconets

- Cannonballs can bounce off water if hits the surface at low angle

-Heavy Bune missing rows fixed

NEW UNITS
------------------
- Wako Assault Kobaya
Cheap, Quick, and able to deploy anywhere. Use them to board light skirmishing vessels. Requires Pirate Lair.

- Yumi Tower Sekibune
Medium Skirmish Ship, bigger sister of Bow Kobaya.

- Donderbuss Sekibune
Gun Assault Ship. Use it by dash, close in, and clear enemy deck wirh Donderbuss fire. Requires Powder Maker

- Firebomb Mangonel Bune
Firebomb Kobaya's bigger cousins, equipped with a single Traction Trebuchet on board to lob bombs much farther than hands can throw. Requires Workshop.

- Wako Sea Lord Atakabune
Heavy Wako Boarding Vessel. Have support abilities, more powerful version of Heavy Bune. Requires Pirate Fortress.

- Rocket Kobaya
Bombardment Vessel. Requires Gunsmith.

- Nanban Caravel
Non-Catholic Version of Nanban Trade Ship, buildable at VOC Factorij. Need Wood Resource.

- Nanban Carrack
Buildable version of the Black Ship. Needs Wood Resource and Catholicism.

- Miura Anjin
Shipwrecked English Navigator, serving alongsides Dutch traders, using Japanese-made European Caravel. Cannot be recruited by Catholic Clans. Need Wood Resource.

BE ADVISED, FOR IT TO WORK,THE BULLGOD MOD HAS TO BE INSTALLED BEFORE USING THIS S2TW NAVAL MOD. If not, you'll only get the usual boring Black Tercos.

PPS: If you use other Overhaul Mod that also modify Naval Stats before subscribing this mod: BE ADVISED, You will still get the New Units and Additional Abilities; but NOT The Mod Overhauls and Tweaks.

This is because Mods that are used earlier takes precedence over mods that are installed later.

So, It might be circumvented by, step-by-step:
1. Be sure you clear the Custom Battle Unit Selection from any units from mods.
2. Exit, then play again, but do not use the other overhaul mod.
3. Play a single Custom Battle.
4. Exit, then resubscribe your other overhaul mod.
5. Enjoy

Have you guys been able to sink anything? even with ''Sink threshold" mods don't think I've seem ships sinks more than once or twice.

@Flightless, It's good for the sake of setting fires. It also tends to knock crew off smaller boats but it's not fantastic at that. It's not as OP as loading HE on wooden and copper plate in FoTS.

For some reason a black ship i captured has less range than the nanbans

Something I've noticed is that Siege Tower Bunes now always take 2 turns to recruit, and for some reason even when I fight naval battles manually I always end up losing at least half of the gunners. Is there something that tweaks them, or might it be a bug from me installing this mod halfway through my modded campaign?

Now this mod is not fully compatible with "Unofficial Shogun 2 Patch 1.7" and "Arrowcannon_sound_fix" since the AI switches to projectiles that have no sound (ships with guns). Without mods to correct the sound, the sound of shots from "Cannon Bune" disappears.

THANK YOU !!!! it has always bothered me that the red seal ships don't have canons when you can see canons on the miniature

for next update you should add unique versions of the new units for the mori clan, bonuses like more accuracy, men, morale and reload rate (also i just tested and yes it is compatible with matchlock navy mod)
