After 7 long months of development, and even being beaten to the punch, I am extremely happy to finally release publicly my very first mod! This Civ has been in private beta testing for a few months now, and it's at a point where I believe it is polished enough for public consumption.

While this is my very first mod, I have attempted to provide the highest quality work I can manage, and this does require the Brave New World expansion due to how reliant this Civ is on BNW's Trade Route system. It is fairly complex, mostly because I enjoy the added layer of decision-making that comes with it. Please check the Civilopedia often!

This is a new Fictional Civilization based on the story of Spice and Wolf (Ookami to Koushinryou), by Isuna Hasekura, originally published as a series of light novels which managed to secure a two-season anime adaptation, as well as a second manga adaptation.

This Civ is led by the heroine of the series, the Wisewolf of Yoitsu - Holo.

It is my first mod, but I hope for it to be an ambitious entry. It is a fairly complex Civ with emphasis on a strong economy, and a heavy focus on Trade Routes. The whole Civ is built around the philosophy and mind-set of a system of bonuses and penalties; Of having to make hard choices, and of the player's decision-making resulting in various trade-offs. In addition, care has been taken to ensure the highest level of detail and bug-free code.

Also included is a large variety of unique buildings, units, promotions, and even a unique improvement and resource. Some buildings are able to auto-upgrade, and others must be manually upgraded. The custom Wolf units are the highlight of this Civ's military presence. This Civ also sports a built-in soundtrack with a generous selection of music, expandable with a separate Extended Soundtrack mod. This Civ was built by a Spice and Wolf fan for Spice and Wolf fans, but anyone who enjoys complex Civs which require some amount of thinking would probably enjoy it. I may be biased, though.

+1 Food from Snow and Tundra. Bonuses from Wheat and improved Wine, Sheep and Apples. Trade routes vastly more effective. Specialists consume more food. Penalty to production and faith.

Wheat Wolf (Replaces Shrine) -> Wolf of the Harvest (Unbuildable)
Trade Guild Branch -> Trade Guild Hub -> Trade Guild Inn (Unique upgrade line)

Apple Orchard (Flat Grassland/Plains with Fresh Water only)
Succulent Apples (One copy per City with 2 Apple Orchards being worked)

Pride of the Wisewolf, Wisdom of the Wisewolf, Wolf of Yoitsu, Dreadful Hunter - With their own custom made-from-scratch unique icons!

Soundtrack included with a generous selection of 21 tracks!

I have many more plans for continued development of this Civ, including support for Events & Decisions, as well as an Extended Soundtrack coming within the next couple days.
