CZ Zones

Welcome to CZ Zones. This mod will allow you to configure custom zones using a JSON configuration file within your profiles folder in your server.
Each zone can have it's own name, notification settings and restricted actions.

There is a setting for GodModCooldownSeconds - currently, it does nothing, however, this will be activated in a future update.

The settings for the zones are:

1. Name - Just makes your configuration more understandable for you, does not do anything.

2, Show Notification - Controls if a player will receive a notification on their screen when entering/exiting the zone.

3. Notification Text (Enter/Exit) - Seperate settings to control titles and text of notifications players see when entering/exiting.

4. Allow Restraints - Controls if players can restrain others, or themselves, within individual zones.

5. Allow Force Feeding - Controls if players can force feed other players within individual zones.

6. Allow Melee Attacks - Controls if players can do actions like punching or stabbing.

7. Allow Ranged Attacks - Controls if players can do actions like shooting guns or crossbows.

8. Allow Deploy Object - Controls if players can deploy objects like fence kits or garden plots.

9. Allow Dig Stash - Controls if players can dig in a stash.

10. Allow Lock Doors - Controls if players can lock vanilla doors with lockpick.

11. Allow Pulse Check - Controls if players can check pulse of other players.

12. Grant God Mode - Gives players god mode within the zone.

13. Enemies Ignore Players - Wolves and Zombies will not attack players when enabled.

Each of the above options are controlled seperately for each zone, this means you could have a melee only zone, and a trader safe zone using the same mod.

You can add as many zones as you like (be sensible - performance matters!)


1. Subscribe to this mod

2. Add the mod folder from your DayZ Workshop folder to the root of your server.

3. Copy the key from the mod folder into your servers key folder.

4. Start your server & join the game.

5. Go back to your server, navigate to your profiles or config folder (depending on your settings).

6. Go to the "CZ Mods" folder and into the CZ Zones folder.

7. Edit the JSON to your desired settings.

8. Reboot the server, and test your new CZ Zones!


This mod is bound by DayZ License APL-ND, that means you cannot upload any derivatives to workshop including server packs or repacks.

Attribution - You must attribute the material in the manner specified by the author or licensor (but not in any way that suggests that they endorse you or your use of the material).

Noncommercial - You may not use this material for any commercial purposes.

Dayz Only - You may not convert or adapt this material to be used in other games than DAYZ.

No Derivatives - If you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you may not distribute the modified material.
