OWB ERX Hayes' Impact

Description
"I have a son in the NCR Army. A Lieutenant, President Granite. And I know that it’s men like my son who will rebuild this great nation."

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Enclave Reborn Redux - Hayes' Impact adds a unique event chain which dynamically benefits the player during the NCR-Enclave war if Grant C Hayes has taken office in the NCR.

Have you ever felt it strange that the Enclave would not glean any benefit whatsoever from having someone who considers themselves to be a member of the Enclave be in charge of the nation that is their enemy? Have you ever felt it even more strange that the person who led the nation that wished nothing more than the Enclave's ultimate destruction would later be the candidate for the vice presidency? Have you ever felt it frustrating that there are both focuses and decisions dedicated to spreading Hayes' influence throughout the NCR but you have almost no incentive to take them in a USA run? Do you like walls of text that come in the forms of events?

If you answered 'yes' to any of those questions, this may be the mod for you!

Version 2.0 includes a set of unique events which detail why and how the NCR Rangers sent by Allgood Murphy from the Mossman Doctrine focus are so willing to fight for the Enclave.

Version 3.0 adds a series of dynamic events and choices which add yet more detail to this intriguing chapter of the NCR's life in ERX, which includes 'Charismatic' and 'Ruthless' trait options, a new leader, and even a small bit of content for the NCR.
Thank you to Fox, Zach, and especially Taaka for helping work out all the kinks in developing this update!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The events will only appear if the player has chosen Reform, if you are at war with the NCR, and if Grant C Hayes is president of the NCR.

The benefits you glean will be the direct result of the actions you take both before and after the events have occurred, so choose wisely.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Compatibility:

Mod requires both Old World Blues and Enclave Reborn - Redux.

Mod should have no conflicts.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The effects of this mod on the NCR Civil War remain untested as yet. Any feedback in this regard would be greatly appreciated.

Please report if you encounter any bugs or glitches and I will address them as soon as possible.

Just tested this and it works fine with the newest ERX version. Downloaded it just before I started the war and got the events so it's save game compatible too.

No. Hayes' Impact adds a unique event chain which dynamically benefits the player during the NCR-Enclave war if Grant C Hayes has taken office in the NCR.

Also. Does this mod have any effect if instead you do a Nevada play through? Like making it easier to ally with the NCR or a different set of events that can occur?

I haven't tested it against the new ERX update. The only thing I could forsee breaking would be if Zach changed the focus ID's out from under me, but the worst case scenario there is that the events wouldn't fire properly. Give it a try and let me know.

Does this mod still work?

ok

No, for a few reason. 1, ERX is tailored to a singleplayer experience when playing as the Enclave, and 2, what Hayes does is meant to be very clandestine. Perhaps even so clandestine that it would be outside of the purview of the player themselves

Does the event proc for playing as the NCR or no?
