Then it wouldn't be mechanical though...

I'm wondering if it could be made a lot simpler by using Detector blocks.

yeah I forgot the 1.42 (I think it was) update to fix rotors set all rotors back to 0..I have a world or two out there on the workshop I need to go back and update...

I just checked out those logic gates. I think a recent update might have broken them. but the concept is neat. looks like welders and grinders to enable and disable reactors. Highly safe practice I'm sure ;)

I was planning on making an adder. This xor can pretty much function as a half adder because AND is part of the process. It's starting to get really complicated in the control panel though. so many different colored rotors that do nothing!

I am a bit dumb when it comes to these but here is another world with some logic gates if you wanted to check it out :

Cool, I've been hoping to see something like this in SE for a while. Even when programming blocks are implemented I think strictly mechanical logic gates could be very useful for more complex builds. Excellent work, are you planning on doing any other logic gates?
Legofreak  [author] Aug 18, 2014 @ 5:47pm
Oh, definately. I spaced all of the gates 7 blocks apart just to give myself some room. this is the first time I've done this in SE and I wanted to prove it could be done before i compact it. As for practicality, the same effect can be accomplished with any 2 buttons set to (reverse) on one rotor.

Very nice! Do you think something like this could be made to be any smaller?

np glad to help, and I am jealous that you got a comment from Marek!! Lol
