Note - This guide is still being worked on/updated, but all current contents are up to date!

Heya guys! This is my second guide aimed at Siren players who are having difficulties running UVHM. I use this build as my CO-OP raiding build, my mobbing build can be found here:

In this guide I will not only teach you how to become invincible, but you'll be able to keep your entire party full while providing slag and crowd control :)
Build and Items
NOTE - This build is mainly for raiding, while outside of raids I recommend trying my other build linked in the Overview section.

Recommended Items

Class Mod - Legendary Nurse[borderlands.wikia.com], if you can't get one of these the next best will probably be a purple/blue nurse with resto/sweet release

Shield - The bread and butter to this build, you don't need the exact same shield, but one that reduces your health by a similar value is quite simply the best shield for what we're attempting to achieve. I have both a fire and shock resistant version with similar values, however my explosive resistant shield only puts me to about 40,000 hp, which makes this build slightly harder to work but still very possible, and very fun!

This particular shield is an OP8 uncommon rarity Pangolin with Maliwan fire resistant capacitor. The rest of the parts are Bandit.

Weapons - Basically the only required weapon is the Slow Hand[borderlands.wikia.com]. This is a Moxxi splatgun with an impressive explosive radius that fires 3 shots and often fills teammates from 1% to full in one shot. The gun is very easy to control, and only requires a slight learning curve to master. I recommend a slag AND shock variant. It's nice to have two when you're forced to reload.

The other 2 of my slots are occupied by a Trick Shot Maggie[borderlands.wikia.com] and a Creamer[borderlands.wikia.com]/Norfleet[borderlands.wikia.com]/Topneaa[borderlands.wikia.com] or Infinity[borderlands.wikia.com]. The only purpose the infinity has in this build is being able to continually fire without having to reload while being helped out of FFYL. If you don't find this to be very useful or have another siren in the group with 1/1 Res I would go with a creamer instead.

Relic - I mainly use either a stockpile relic[url] or [url]Shadow of the Seraphs[borderlands.wikia.com] (the two-fang relic), shock Bone of the Ancients[borderlands.wikia.com] or a Skin of the Ancients[borderlands.wikia.com] are both great relics with this build as well.

Grenades - Quasar[borderlands.wikia.com], Slag Singularity[borderlands.wikia.com] or Magic Missile[borderlands.wikia.com]. Chain lightning[borderlands.wikia.com] is an option but you don't really need it. I prefer a slag singularity grenade to everything in this slot, it's a shame purples don't have self-regeneration
Tips and Tricks
Basically this build is strong enough to keep you alive while you keep everyone else alive.. The low total HP after the reduction from the turtle shield combined with the high HP regen of the legendary nurse mod will basically render you invincible so long as you keep moving/deal with DOT effectively. Always match the resist to fight you're doing to minimize the possibility of going down.

Your job with this build is to provide crowd control, slag and healing to your teammates. With the slow hand, you can slag an enemy plus heal any grouped up teammates around this enemy to full with 1 trigger pull.

For raiding Master Gee, I usually end up eating multiple pools so I recommend swapping out your shield for an adaptive to make the damage over time easier to deal with.

Here is a teaser of how much survivability this build has:

1000 word limits really suck.

there is no point in using another mod because the entire basis of this build is to get your hp as low as possible to take advantage of the high flat hp regen rate the nurse mod has.. this allows you to be basically invulnerable while healing your teammates.

i don't use magic missile because everything is always slagged anyway, i actually don't even really use grenades at all, quasar is just for the bit of cc it helps provide my teammates, the fact that i can bunch everything up while they just shoot in one direction, and because with this build chain lightning is not necessary.

i know how flicker works and i realize it isn't the best skill to use but it effects scorn's chance to slag as well as my chance to slag with weapons, you can see how much flicker is influencing by swapping to a weapon, and quickly swapping to another/back to the first.. it updates the chance value on the item card until you swap out the weapon again. there's no point in taking backdraft or helios since helios scaling is pretty bad, and i would never ever take cloudkill... leaving just flicker

i would rather have ruin than any other siren skill. 100% chance to slag groups when paired with converge without having to aim/hit a target.. there's nothing in the game i find more useful

swapping to grog nozzle takes time and effort meaning i won't be able to heal effectively during this period. i take 1 point in lifetap to just get the effect but honestly healing myself isn't necessary with this build. ever. not to mention my builds are meant to avoid using grog nozzle, since slowhand is a moxxi and easily fills you to 100% with the hp totals the shield reduces you to

mind's eye is pretty self explanatory.. i need to get to scorn and the rest of the skills in the tree are useless for me.. and taking fleet is just adding more points to motion when i don't have them

hopefully that helped cover some things you mentioned... its literally impossible to die with this build outside of master gee because of the high hp regen paired with your low hp total keeps you above health gate threshold 1 second after you are taken to 1%

You might want to consider these points to improve your guide here:
1. How about 5 points on Quicken? You wouldn't need singularity 'nades for crowd control at all if your phaselock has a very low cooldown (with a proficiency relic and a mod that reduces action skill cooldown like a Binder mod or the Legendary Siren mod).
2. If you know how it works, Flicker is actually pretty bad to skill up. 1 point is enough.
3. You don't need Ruin/Scorn if you have a Magic Missile (no matter what level it is), especially on UVHM.
4. You don't need Life Tap to self-heal if you have a Grog Nozzle (if you don't know about it yet, it's a mission weapon provided by Claptrap in a side quest in the Dragon Keep DLC).
5. You're not really aiming for crits most of the time so 1 value point in Mind's Eye is enough.
6. You'll really want as many points as possible on Restoration if you want every bit of your damage to do the most heal. It also increases your HP so you'd be a bit harder to kill yourself.

7. Fleet is quite important as well. It lets easier maneuvering of the battlefield [when your shield, which doesn't really matter that much, is down] to find cover or to get to teammates quicker to Res them. Put all your extra points in there, but I personally max this out 'cause it also helps with scouting and getting to places faster to turn in quests or something with the help of The Rough Rider shield and a Breakneck Banshee mod.
P.S.: Adaptive Shields do not reduce the damage you take from acid pools on Master Gee raids.

Wow! Thanks again, teek! This guide is amazingly useful. My party has started to yell at me less. Haha.
