Wanna teach someone how to play Portal but don't want to run them through all the tutorial levels of the story mode? Not to worry! Here, players will be put through short rooms immediately after one another to teach them the basic concepts of all the test elements.

Landing the Cube on the Weighted Cube Button is finicky. Try putting the Portal surface above it instead.

@Minalmo The lasers and gels are introduced in Testing Tools and Funnels & Gels respectively. This map is purposefully designed to be easy to teach the basics of Portal, hence the title of the map.

Well arranged map (though I got turned around a couple times, but that was my fault). I could use some comments on some tougher maps I made: Trick Shot , It's Broken and Remorseless .

Occasional glitchiness with the second-to-last cube-and-buttons demonstration; the cube likes to slide around, forcing you to dash through the door before it falls off the button and requires you to spawn another one.

Similarly, I had the occasional bit of trouble spawning portals during the final momentum chain puzzle. Mostly when firing through the gridded fences, but a few times when aiming down the deep pit on the bottom floor.

No idea if these are things that can be corrected, or if it's just the engine being tetchy. Gave the chamber a thumbs-up; it was a nice little refresher. :steggy:
