What if Woodie had a long-lost twin brother? Heh.

A "salaryman" is a Japanese term. It refers to the office worker. Typically one who is overworked.

Wiggins fits the bill. He is hounded by his boss and constantly buried in paperwork. His unhealthy lifestyle gives him stomach problems. Even after he finds himself in Maxwell's world, he's unable to stop thinking about his boss, his ex-wife and the neverending paperwork he's left behind. Wiggins's battlecry is "HOLY STACKS OF PAPERWORK! HERE GOES NOTHING!"

I gave him a completely customized speech file.


Sample lines:

This is harder to use than a pencil.
No more room! Not even for a paperclip!
Did he work himself to death?
Sharp. Like my boss's every word.
More bling than my ex-wife ever wore.
Isn't it spoiled? I'd rather eat staples!
Keeps me drier than my boss's sense of humour.
It takes too long to dry. My boss would not approve.
Sends you to sleep faster than a board meeting.
At least the office didn't have tentacles!


But Wiggins isn't the wilderness loving type. Sometimes, he asks more questions than he gives answers when you have him examine certain things. A sedentary, stress-filled lifestyle has given Wiggins gastric and heartburn problems, so he has to eat often but little. He's not a fighter, given his poor health. However, because he's out of the office, his mind does feel saner than usual. (Perhaps it's just kidding itself!) Still, being around monsters is a sanity drain on poor Wiggins. Can't blame him. Who wants to be around monsters?


Health - 80 (hits less hard)
Sanity - 100 (regens a little)
Hunger - 120 (gets hungry faster)

Among the 3 character mods I've made, his stats are the most challenging. If you're looking for a character with magical new skills and cool new items, you'll be disappointed with Wiggins. But, if you want to discover the surprising charm and personality beneath his ho-hum shirt-and-tie appearance, Wiggins might grow on you. I hope you enjoy playing with him as much as I do!



Note: If you are able to play with other character mods, you should be able to play with Wiggins. If Wiggins crashes on you, try disabling "small textures" and playing in windowed mode. He should work fine for most players but, like my other character mods, I believe a very few people may not be able to play with him. It might have to do with the type of computer you use. If you provide the log.txt error report, I'll look at it and see if I can spot the problem.

Wiggins is my third and final mod. (I have too many hobbies and it's high time I got back to them.) I feel like a silly gnat who has had to study quantum physics when I made myself learn to do character mods. But I've had so much fun! Thank you, Klei, for such a fun, addictive game! 8D
