Attack of the Murder Bird (Updated for 6.81)

Phoenix is a powerful, aggressive hero whose long ranged spells, great damage, and built in survival skills allow him to excel in any lane. He can be played as a support, or as a solo (Mid or offlane are both roles he excels at), with his Icarus Dive giving him a truly extraordinary amount of synergy with a plethora of items.

Remember that Supernova is by no means your main contribution in a teamfight. it is a final tool to use after you have expended all your heavy cooldown abilities, and buying an item that only increases its damage is not efficient.

But it IS fun.

Radiance's damage stacks with Icarus' ult, so it will also devastate the enemy team if popped at just the right time in a teamfight... :D

Radiance also stacks with the damage from Icarus' ult... So it sorta devastates them if popped right into a team fight :D

Radiance is not recommended because it's a farming and pushing tool with a difficult buildup, and Shiva's guard works much better when comboing with your ulti. It will slow down their attacks and increase the chances of your survival much more than a Radiance would (Which will only make them focus you more)
