Beschreibung
Mod that increases bandaging speed in ACE3 by 100%, making it twice as fast.
Requires ACE3 Medical to work as it simply updates the speed there.

There is also a "ACE3 Fasterer Bandages" version which increases speed by 400%.

For the mathematically challenged here's the breakdown:
If bandaging someone in ACE3 would take you 10 seconds normally then...
ACE3 Faster Bandages: 5 seconds
ACE3 Fasterer Bandages: 2.5 seconds

technically i really dont see why that mod, or this mod, should have issues working as long as they load after ace. however since ive experienced myself that this mod turns itself off sometimes and i have to disable and re-enable it to make it work i know what you're talking about.

if ace loads first then your promet thing loads, the promet stuff should overwrite the ace stuff and it should work. since that sometimes is not the case i can only speculate that the ace module for weapons etc delay its load.

since i know disabling and re-enabling could often fix this mod id recommend just trying the same with the promet one. if i recall there was also a irc for ace development, you could see if you can find that and mention the issue there and ask if they know what could cause it.

The promet/115 mod isn't very important. Would be cool to have it working, but I'm drowning in guns, anyway :-)

you ever thought about a mod to restore the idle animations that ace disables? like the character they add

and assuming the promet/type115 tweaks is also having some issue with ace overwriting its changes im still guessing the problem is ace. maybe it loads in some modules later and not on game start or similar. because a mod changing the caliber of a weapon will not at all deal with the same files as this mod, in no way is the promet mod you are using interfering with this mod.

this mod modifies portions of aces medical, thats all it does. the promet mod im guessing changes up stuff with that weapon, and im assuming ace also modifies those files due to renaming weapons etc, and thats where the conflict lies.

reticuli this one should start working if you just disable and enable it again. im not entirely sure why it sometimes struggle with overwriting ace but it must be something wonky ace is doing.
technically it should always work as long as it loads after ace does.

Both this and Promet/Type115_caliber_tweaks must be at the very end, which means I can only use one.

Yeah I thought that would be a good combo. TY for the info and the helpful mod. Always thought it was curious you can adjust the speed of everything else, but not bandaging. :)

its a multiplier on the base speed, so it affects both bandaging yourself and bandaging someone else. its worth noting though that bandaging someone else is already faster, with this mod it becomes even more so. (so its still better to bandage your friend than having him bandage himself, technically)

Does this also make it even faster to apply bandages to teammates? Or does it only affect self bandaging speed?

if you have issues with this working make sure its enabled last of your mods. so disable it and re-enable it as the last one.
