In Korean culture, 'Sotdae' (Traditional bird themed wards) are usually erected near the entrance of a village to ward off evil spirits as well as to represent villagers' wishes for prosperity and well-being. In Dota 2, they keep a watchful eye out for intruders, both visible and invisible.
