A NEW Pokemon mod is currently in development, but it's still VERY much a WIP and I'm excited for the day y'all can finally get your hands on it.

So keep your eyes peeled for the upcoming PokéArk Revamped: VCSF mod for ARK: Survival Evolved (and, whenever the game is released and FULLY updated with ALL of the game's content, ARK: Survival Ascended)

Strange, yet familiar, new creatures have begun to appear on the Arks with unique and powerful abilities.These creatures seem to be far more intelligent than any other animal found and are able to completely understand human speech. They also seem to have adapted very quickly, surprisingly dominating the natural fauna and flora and invading nearly every biome. They have been dubbed “Pocket Monsters” by survivors of the Arks for their relatively small size in comparison to the dinosaurs that roam the land. Pokemon, for short, seem to have almost total mastery over the elements as well as control over various aspects of both life and death. The most spectacular thing, however, is their ability to metamorphosize under specific conditions. In a beautiful array of colors and lights, they begin to change form - a spectacle that survivors now call “evolution”. These creatures, despite their immense power, can be highly affectionate... but others can also be aggressive and are not that untrusting of humans. Wherever these monsters are from, I suppose, there are humans as well.

PokeArk: Claw & Fang is a mod dedicated towards adding Pokemon in the most immersive way possible that is both balanced towards traditional Ark, while being as true to the games within that balance. Every Pokemon, aside from baby Pokemon, has at least two attacks - one melee and one special. Alongside these attacks, there are also Pokemon types which factor into how much damage Pokemon receive from certain elemental and Pokemon attacks.

The initial release of PokeArk: Claw & Fang comes with a total of 17 Pokemon originating from the Gen 1 games… while also adding Baby forms, Mega Evolutions, Alolan forms, and new evolutions that are actually discovered in future generations!

This Pokemon include:
Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, Venusaur, (all naturally found in the wild) and Mega Venusaur (rare spawn)
Charmander, Charmeleon, Charizard, (all naturally found in the wild) Mega Charizard X, and Mega Charizard Y (rare spawns)
Squirtle, Wartortle, Blastoise, (all naturally found in the wild) and Mega Blastoise (rare spawn)
Pichu, (ONLY acquired through breeding) Pikachu, Raichu, and Alolan Raichu (all naturally found in the wild)

The Items in the initial release (that also have custom drop meshes):
Thunder Stone Essences: Used to craft a Thunder Stone in the Smithy
Blastoisinite: Found by killing a wild Mega Blastoise
Venusaurite: Found by killing a wild Mega Venusaur
Charizardite X: Found by killing a wild Mega Charizard X
Charizardite Y: Found by killing a wild Mega Charizard Y
Every Pokemon, aside from Baby and Mega forms, is also breedable AND can lay eggs. The color of the eggs varies on the type of Pokemon that laid them.
Green eggs for Stage 1 Pokemon
Orange eggs for Stage 2 Pokemon
Purple eggs for Stage 3 Pokemon
And Alolan eggs for Alolan pokemon

Also… SHINIES!!!
Not only are Shiny versions of every Pokemon also included in every update, but both Shiny AND Normal Pokemon are breedable with each other! Also, not only is there a chance to encounter a wild Shiny Pokemon… there’s a chance to get a Shiny through breeding as well! You may even get lucky and acquire a shiny through evolution!

We’re not expecting a perfect mod on release because we realize all mods have bugs in some shape or form. Be patient while said bugs that are posted get fixed so we can release the highest quality product possible. Once we both agree that the state of the mod is in an optimal and working order, the next new content update will roll out as it is finished.
