W.A.S.P. Eagle Pod Type-V (VANILLA)

The Weapon And System Pod Eagle Pod, Type-V(anillia) variant of the Eagle Multi-Pod is designed as a generic subcraft core to suit all your exploration and Engineering needs without the need for modded blocks. Utilizing onboard projectors, a single Eagle can be configured and rebuilt a dozen different ways to suit every need from fuel transportation, heavy construction, to combat aircraft. This is achieved by dividing the projectors into three catagories; Vehicle Frames, which mount engines suitable to the task onto the sides of the Eagle, Tool Hands, which mount to the nose (grinders, welders, guns, etc), and Dorsal Modules that expand the Eagle's storage capacities. While perfectly capable of maneuvering in space on ion thrusters, while in planetary atmosphere, a stock pod is only capable of limited flight via its hydrogen thrusters bolstered by an internal Oxygen Generator. Parachute launchers are included for when fuel depletes at inappropriate times or because your space-configured Eagle Pod fell into gravity.

Controls

Hotbar 1 - General Flight controls are found here. Thrusters are grouped together, save for the Large Hydrogen Thruster left on its own, and a Master On/Off toggle.

Hotbar 2 - Frame Projectors. The Timer in Slot 8 detaches the vehicle frame, the Timer in Slot 9 resets the locks. If already connected, pressing it a second time will Lock the Connectors.

Hotbar 3 - Tool Projectors. The Timer in Slot 8 detaches the vehicle frame, the Timer in Slot 9 resets the locks. If already connected, pressing it a second time will Lock the Connectors.

Hotbar 4 - Dorsal Module Projectors. The Timer in Slot 8 detaches the vehicle frame, the Timer in Slot 9 resets the locks. If already connected, pressing it a second time will Lock the Connectors.

Vehicle Frames

Atmospheric VTOL Frame- eight Large Atmospheric Engines keep the Eagle aloft along with enough excess thrust to lift the cargo pod and contents if need be. Two more set forward provide acceleration, along with maneuvering thrusters rigged around the lifting engines. Activated and deactivated with Timers in each engine pod, however the forward-flight ones are just left on their own in the G-Menu so you can use the basic maneuvering thrusters to move around with more care.

Hydrogen Space Frame - Heavy-Duty Hydrogen Engines with an extra tank in each of the four Thrust Pods. The excess thrust allows an Eagle to maneuver heavy loads, even manipulating colossal sections of Large Block vessels when pair with the Cargo Handling tool. Activated and deactivated with Timers in each side-mounted Pod.

Crawler Frame - Sixteen wheels of offroad fun. Intended for when you don't have the resources for aerospace engines, or just want to go leaping off cliffs.

Cargo Handling - An extra Medium Container with two Landing Gear to assist with maneuvering large objects in deep space.

Combat - Four (x4) Gatling Guns, a Reloadable Rocket Launcher, and a Gatling Turret for missile defense. Enough to go deal with that pesky pirate base that keeps interrupting you while you're mining.


Dorsal Modules

Cargo Pallet - More Medium Cargo Containers than you'll probably ever need.

Hydrogen Fuel Pod - An extra ten Hydrogen Tanks. When paired with the Hydrogen Space Frame, there is enough fuel to get an Eagle from ground to orbit if need be.

Salvage Pad - A flat surface and connector through-put to the Eagle proper. Ideal for carrying home a trophy, or your buddy's wrecked vehicle for repairs.

Missile Turret - A raised Missile Turret to keep wolves/engineers/pirates away from your sweet ride.
