Destiny 2: The Final Straw.

I love this game, it does so much right. But there's one thing I don't like:

The existence of the (player) Attack stat.

If you don't spec into it, you'll feel really weak fighting bosses at endgame. Your bullets do single digits worth of damage, and against bosses with tens of thousands of HP, that doesn't feel good. Conversely, if you do spec into it, bosses become really easy. Get 5 'mons with the Vanguard trait (Bonus if they're Gobfins) and 40-50 levels spent on Attack Up, and you'll shred bosses.

It feels like you have to put points into Attack to be optimal, otherwise you'll be useless in boss fights. I hope something about this changes.

Story is absolutely worth playing.

RunePass is a funny for an April Fools joke, and then you remember it's September.

TF2 is one of my favourite games ever. I seriously mean that. I've spent a large portion of my life with this game. I started playing it when I was getting into PC gaming back in ~2008, when I was 15 years old. I'm turning 30 this year, and TF2 has still always been at the absolute top. This game has changed my life in so many ways. Which is why it's genuinely saddening and infuriating to see Valve deliberately ignoring and neglecting it. If I joined TF2 today, and this was my experience in 2024, I would have not stuck around.

TF2 is one of my favourite games ever. And it's with a heavy heart that I cannot recommend it.

Valve, fix your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game.

Hey so I'm just super appreciative of the devs and mods and such, for helping out with questions and problems. I've gotten help changing my email after losing access to my old email, and transferring my Animal Royale account to a new Steam account, letting me keep all my saved progress, levels, and items! I always worry I'm being a bother when I ask for help haha.
