1. Terraria
This isn't the greatest game ever created, and I know that damn well. But it's my absolute favourite. Every year I come back and do a run-through with a fresh character on a fresh world. The combat is dynamic and fun, the graphics are charming and surprisingly fantastic, the soundtrack is divine, the game play itself whether it be mining, exploring, building, it all clicks with me in a way that I've never seen. While I fully acknowledge that it's not the best game ever made, I'll never stop loving it..

2. Portal 2
Imma be real, in my mind, no game has come close to topping Portal 2. I have absolutely no problems with this game. With an gripping story, fantastic dialogue and satisfying game play, Portal 2 remains my uncontested championed greatest game of all time objectively.

3. Ori And The Will Of The Wisps
Well, it WOULD be uncontested if this game didn't exist. It's a game that makes you laugh out of charm and cry out of heartbreak. The environments this game presents go second to none in terms of beauty, which goes the game for the art style. While I do prefer Portal 2 because it's been around longer, I can see Ori possibly overtaking it one day as the objectively greatest game I've ever played.

4. Doom Eternal
I'm not particularly big on shooters. I'm fine with most of them, and it's not like it's a genre I try to avoid, I'm just not a fan. Then I played Doom Eternal. And I still don't like shooters all that much, but this game is a bona fide masterpiece. Brutally satisfying in all the right ways with a team of devs who actually looked like they cared about the game they were making (with the exception of the scumbag treatment of Mick Gordon), Doom Eternal goes harder than anything I've ever seen.
