Early Access Review
What VRChat essentially gave the community is a VR sandbox for us to make our own worlds in. This includes a community who would improve upon aspects in order to make the game more enjoyable. While it may have seemed like a good idea to implement anti-cheat software to prevent harassment and crashing, (and those are indeed problems,) in choosing to get rid of all the features the community made to make VRChat more enjoyable, the team behind this game has removed part of what made it fun in the first place. Sure, yeah, we'll get features like closed captions and other quality of life features back in 2030 when they decide to implement them on their own, but for now, tough luck I guess.

By banning all mods instead of specific malicious ones, they've essentially said "♥♥♥♥ you we'll do it ourselves" to a community dedicated to improving this VR sandbox they've made.

DO NOT install the current update. Anti-cheat software is notorious for compromising privacy.

TLDR: Play NEOS instead, or just get VTuber models and use Discord for a better experience.

This game is incredibly off putting to newcomers. The lack of a tutorial or guide in game makes it so that new players will likely die immediately because they neither understand or are capable of doing things that veteran players are capable of. In SCPSL, you will die. That's not the issue. The people who played when this game came out are now the only people allowed to play. I played this through Discord about a year ago and I tried joining the official Discord only to be met with toxicity. I really like SCP. I like this game as a concept but as of now, if you haven't already sold your soul to the scarlet king, (let alone know what that is,) you might as well not even bother with this dumpster fire. If you do somehow want to play this femur-breaker of a game, bring friends.

A lovely little game about reaping souls. The combat was engaging, the story kept me on the edge of my seat, and the ending almost made me, a grown man, cry. I highly recommend this game for anyone looking for a small game to play.

This game is an adrenaline-pumping romp through not just the world of the AVGN, but of Cinemassacre as a whole. For those who'd like a pleasant trip down nostalgia lane, this game offers easier difficulties where you can experience everything it has to offer without needing to be a hardcore gamer. For those who'd like something that awakens the seething anger that's been dormant in their soul, harder difficulties will kick your ass. With unlockable characters in the first game, upgrades in the second, and an awesome final chapter, this game is perfect for nerds of Cinemassacre and nerds of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ games that suck ass.
