F&G's Weapon Pack is a DLC that is horribly balanced and I'm mixed about it for that reason. In a content update with a heist that was mediocre its interesting to have such strong weapons. Its the definition of power creep but do I recommend it for that? Well lets run it down.

The SPAS-12 Is just a straight upgrade to the current shotgun. Better damage. Better everything. It honestly puts all the other shotguns to shame. If you love shotguns I'm sure you're gonna have a blast with this one. Feels punchy and good to weld. However the fact it just straights upgrade the shotgun feels like a bit of a cheat to me. Maybe it could have worse recoil or something? Bit hard to balance a shotgun like this that's meant to be powerful but I don't think just making it OP was the way to go. A fun weapon but without any trades off.

The new Jackknife pistol is nothing to write home about really. In a sea of pistols it's weird to see another one crop up especially in a DLC setting? Anyhow its another straight upgrade to most pistols. It basically replaces the default starter's pistol purpose as the "All rounder" An good weapon to hold but it feels so odd to have just another upgraded pistol in this dlc consider we already have the Deagle now. Feels like it coulda been added for free and instead the slot been used for something like a new primary or interesting secondary. If you main Pistols its not a bad choice but just know you're not getting anything really new here. You've used this gun a thousand times already. Just weaker versions.

The Deagle is this DLC's answer to its own pistol problem. A unique secondary that packs a punch. A decent 8 sized mag and huge damage to boot makes this the most OP gun in the game. A mini pocket sniper capable of killing dozers quick. Makes using your primary useless and I think that's a bad thing. Don't get me wrong the weapon is fun and if you love having more stronger weapons this + the SPAS is right up your alley. But you can def feel the power creep coming in. A solid nerf to its damage or something without making it worthless would be nice. As of right now it makes the boys in blue revolver look like a peashooter in comparison with how slow it is.

Overall this weapon pack is one I recommend only if you like pure power. You're not getting anything super new here. Just some really strong guns which is fun in its own right. This dlc makes me feel bad though that free players didn't get anything else. Sure the minigun is super fun but this felt like a missed opportunity to move one of these weapons to the free slot at least! Anywho out of all the dlc weapons I recommend this one the most just for the deagle alone. It's fun. Def more fun than the new heist itself in my opinion!

Boys In Blue is a good addition to PAYDAY. A great one at that actually. A interesting Tailor Pack. Really cool guns and a actual decent heist? Lovely stuff. However this DLC does NOT feel like a DLC to me at all. This really shoulda been released as a free update and here's why I think that.

The weapons: While the guns are cool and fun to use they don't feel all that unique. The MP5 is cool. The G3 is super fun to use and The Revolver is cool but I can't help but feel as if these weapons just aren't that unique. Sure they're classic and fit the theme but I think paid content like this is at its best when you're getting items that are special and unique. Compare it to Syntax Error which had 3 fun and really unique weapons! It feels odd to paywall just standard and frankly meh balanced weapons.

The heist: Boys In Blue is good but its just that. Good. The setting is interesting the objectives are pretty generic in loud all things considered. While the layout is close quarters and open too this map really just feels to me like just a good quick fun gold heist. But its just that. Its quick and fun. Nothing to write home about. It's a fine addition but Its nothing i really would pay for.

The tailor pack: I think they're REALLY good. Not much to say there.

Overall for 12 bucks? I don't feel like you get much bang for your buck. Syntax Error is flawed too and I dont think its the worth the price as well. At least Syntax Error had a unique brand to it that felt like at the very least the weapons were worth the value. Here though it all feels so filler. This really could've been a free update and I think that would've pleased a lot more players. 12 dollars is still a lot to ask for especially in the games current state and so with that. I don't think the full package is worth it. These DLC's are fine for people like me who already bought the other editions of the game but for people that didn't? These are really underwhelming and sad. We need more free content.

When I was way younger I used to be scared and in love with the fnaf lore and how terrifed it made me felt. I haven't had that sense of community and horror in a long time untill I played this. It does a lot of things right here with its horror but mainly im just happy with how it turned out. This is a amazingly well made game and thats why I bought it to the support the dev and team who made it. It does have some flaws with it story as I sometimes feel like it can be too on the nose sometimes but for the most of it? Horrifying thrills.... Even if you got the entire game spoiled like I did i encourage you to buy it to show support to an amazing effort. Or dont if you disagree. =D

I really don't have anything really constructive to say. In a sea of dry too boring or too complex vr shooters. This game just hits an amazing simplicity I cant describe. Easy to pickup. More than worth the 20 bucks.
