my game deleted my 60 hour save. was unable to restore it. discord didnt help, was told it was a skill issue by the game creators.

Stardew Valley will always have a special place in my heart, it was and still is a game that I cant stop coming back to but i made a huge mistake that i really discourage other people from making in the game. at around Year 7 in my 4th world or so which is my main world. I hit 100% completion on the completion tracker and watched the end credit scene which felt satisfying, but empty at the same time.

I had become so focused on completion and getting everything done; that by the time it was all done i was burnt out and sick of it. To this day i have never felt like going back to my world and decorating it as i just cannot bring myself to do it. Although i enjoyed the game, i really regret rushing to complete the game instead of just casually enjoying it, instead i spent my time mostly on the wiki and on guides through the game. Make sure to enjoy the game for what it is.
