Despite It Being Born From Originality, I Hope Other Developers Copy Her Story’s Blueprint. Not The Exact Story, Of Course, But The Idea That People Who Play Games Are Smart, And Can Take On Tough, Intellectual Work If You Give Them A Story Worth Working For. With A Strong Script, Great Use Of FMV, And A Simple Yet Empowering Core Game Mechanic, Her Story Is The Most Unique Game I’ve Played In Years.

DMC1: Stirs In A Multitude Of Arcade Elements With A Robust Fighting System, And Enables Players To Fluidly Play Through 10-15 Hours Of Gameplay That Seems Very Much Like It's Been Seen Before, But Just Never Quite In This Energetic Or Busy A Package. If Devil May Cry Were Considered A Man, It Would Be Considered A Fighter, Not A Lover: 90% Of The Game Is Pure Beat-'Em-Up Goodness, The Rest Is Finding Keys, Watching Great Cut-Scenes, And Exploring The Vast And Gorgeous Levels.

DMC2: You'll Be Done With The Game And Still Not Be Quite Sure What The Hell You Were Doing, Or What Happened. Not Only Does The Story Not Get Explained From The Very Beginning But It Never Develops And Never Truly Ends. So It's Not Worth It.

DMC3: Devil May Cry 3 Has Everything. It Has The Fun, The Depth, And The Look. It Has The Reason To Skip School, The Reason To Call In Sick To Work, And The Reason To Reconsider That Friday Night Date. It Has Five Difficulty Settings (All Challenging, Most Insane), Plenty Of Secret Missions, Unlockable Bonuses And Costumes, An Easy To Use Interface, And More Brain-Twisting Puzzles Than The First Two Games Combined. In Other Words, It's The Reason You Bought A PlayStation 2, Now Go And Enjoy It.
