I played through all of this and 100% completed this all in 8 hours and it feels SO good to move around and I can tell no two playthroughs are going to be the same because I completely missed the wall kick and only got it after getting a bunch of other abilities and even getting through a lot of the Underbelly and making it through the less important parts of the Twilight Theatre . I don't really care for the combat though fighting certain enemies is annoying since you can't slide or jump out of the way while attacking but the final boss really takes advantage of everything you've learned throughout the game.

It's not Blazblue.

What is actually is: A flawed idea of mixing a card game with Counter Strike.

I got tricked into playing a game that's like Counter Strike but with RNG, tagged as an Arena Shooter.
It also has the tag "Old School" but it doesn't look like it, Still looks good.
most characters sound annoying.
Would have kept on playing if it weren't for feeling like I died faster than the opponent which I have a hunch that it has to do with the leveling up cards system, if the Boomstick's damage wasn't horrible and if the starting weapon which you have most of the time didn't have mildly inconvenient accuracy (yes I know there's a character that has a boosted accuracy) and a painfully slow reload time. That reload time got me killed most of the time.

This could be a good game. But I would rather trade in X amount of duplicates for 1 new card and play a better card game. Also looked at reviews and seeing positive reviews mostly talking about the flaws of the game, what's even going through their heads?

TLDR: It's worth the non existent currency and the dialogue is fun in various points like Blaze talking about war crimes, the paragraph below is just criticism/nitpicks/opinions



The story is meh even for a short spin-off and for the writer as well somehow making Espio as gullible as Knuckles, and not really having a choice in various spots where you could have a choice. Also the special stage-like minigames aren't fun, I only failed 3 times but they somehow make these things more annoying than challenging.

I progressed through this game out of order.
Good Metriodvania.
Only part I hated was the extremely dark part.

-No Pierce bomb.
-You have to buy the DLC to play with friends.
-Super Bomberman R already exists and I would rather buy that.

-DOOM 2 berserk punch simulator.
-Has eggs.
-Dopamine generator.
-Funny Black Scottish Man voice line.

Wouldn't recommend if your VR headset isn't wireless. Come prepared with comfy shoes, socks or slippers.
Those 2 and a half hours were worth it even if the BFG Grenade Launcher sucks
