This is the single best tank game out there.

However it's business practices, basically kill any kind of balance.
While I do think it is not worth your time or your dime to get to top tier, the game is enjoyable at lower tiers, bus as soon as you reach the "cold war" era of tanks, there is a clear struggle to keep the game enjoyable unless you are either playing one of the big 3 nations (USA, USSR or Germany) or just simply do not care about your time as much or are wiling to spend money to get worthwhile progress in the tech tree aka the grind.
This leads to my next point, that this game does not respect your time at all even if you pay in for a subscription service, the amount of xp does not increase relative to the amount of xp you need to get/unlock a new vehicle or parts(like more powerful engines or ammunitions) for an already owned vehicle. You can probably figure out that this makes any nations that have gaps in their performance or lack in interesting options tedious to play and with the recent changes to how some of the ammunitions work this only made it feel worse.

So to sum it up: game doesn't respect your time or money if you wish to acquire modern equipment, it makes secondary nations a chore to play, the map design is horrendous, the community rarely has a voice in things when it comes in changes, bugs riddle the game with upwards of weeks to be even addressed and the company that runs it does not really care unless it aligns with their interests.

Mind you if you read this do not think this is from a place of hate, yet it comes from the hours I have spent playing this game and actually enjoying it at times. But the recent ways it has been handled has sucked most of the enjoyment out of it.
