Putting in EAC and completely ignoring the fact that it doesn't help against crasher avatars and bad actors is a clear sign that these devs care more about community made QoL mods and features stealing potential profit than their actual player-base being able to enjoy the game. Not only is EAC a super invasive KERNEL LEVEL anti-cheat, but it only hurts people using mods to make the game more playable. An anti-cheat does not stop people who wish to harm the game or the experience it gives to others, they will find a way. This dev team is ludicrously slow at adding features that are basically essential for disabled users, so them promising to "add them in" and assuring us that "they are top priority" is just not enough. If we can't trust you to understand what your playerbase needs, how can we even trust that you'll be keeping any of these features you add in out of your optional subscription VRC+? Why should I even pay for these features when I can get all of them in other games for free, with devs who communicate with their players and CARE about their input? I have always refused to give this dev team money, and now I know I never will be in the future. Stop being tone deaf, stop being money hungry, fix the game.

Oh yeah, and if this all wasn't bad enough, they're looking into crypto and the blockchain. If EAC isn't a reason to find something else, that certainly is. Don't be surprised if they just start monetizing whatever they can within the coming years unless they find a way to turn this around. I highly doubt they will though. Go play something else that's more worth your time.

If you're looking for an alternative, Neos VR is a really interesting platform, more akin to VR Gmod than anything else. ChilloutVR is probably the most similar title out there, and their devs actively encourage modding instead of punishing it.

The gameplay is fine, but here are a few gripes I have so far;

- Boomerang guy is fun, for like, the first three runs. Eventually, he gets boring and annoying to play with.

- The Devs implemented these wack quests to get new characters, but the progression through these quests is so punishing that I cannot bring myself to set up a run just for it to fall apart in one section. It feels horrible.

Maybe I'm just malding and I'm not all too good at the game, but it doesn't really feel all that friendly to new players and I'm having a hard time understanding why they made the difficulty so high for unlocking essential characters that create the replay value this game direly needs to stay in my library.
