Pretty solid tactical strategy game. Love the campaign and how you can get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ over for poor decisions in a battle or spending too many resources, not to mention the system where different guns exist and you can balance and change a brigade's capability, fun and pretty unique for tactical strategy games.

I like this game on a certain level, I used to play the first one alot when I was younger. However, cannot really recommend purchases for this game for these reasons:

1. When attacking Rebels, troops will sometimes instead simply convert to the rebel faction instead of actually taking the province, while this hasn't happened many times in normal play for me, it happens almost every time when using rebel nations in edited scenarios.

2. Needs quality of life changes, when typing pretty much anything, there is no way to go back and edit the text, it must be completely deleted and rewritten. The custom flag system for the nation maker is annoying with its overlays being unmovable. There is no easy way to tell what alliances exist or people are in, at least I have not found one.

3. Diplomacy can sometimes be annoying, I have not found a way to remove/end a union made with a nation. When in a peace negotiation, it does not say whether or not the enemy will accept or reject or why so.

4. The event making is absolutely horrid. I have not found a logical way to create an event and have only had one work for me through sheer luck, and even then it was partly wrong. There is no explanation as to how all of the parts of the event making process interact or what they even do. I have been unable to consistently get events to trigger based off anything other than "civilization exists" which instantly grants the event. The province selection in the event making process can only select multiple if you use the brush mode.

5. I don't remember the last time I heard about an update or bug fix for this game.

While I am sure there are other complaints for other reasons, those are the most apparent for me.

I mean game is pretty good but wtf Paradox why is the DLC bordering 100 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dollars dude like cmon.

Terra Nova music is ingrained in my brain forever, as well as the BNW dlc intro. This game will always have a place in my heart. Nowadays MP is less easy cause its harder to justify spending 50 bucks on a game to your friends when Civ 5 is a generation behind in it's series, especially since they haven't played much strategy. But overall, this game is great.

Still stick to this game because Im not a fan of graphic changes from realism to cartoony and other slight gameplay tweaks in Civ 6.

Pog, server game modes are pic and workshop ♥♥♥♥ makes single player fun.
