This game has a lot of potential, and if you play it casually its not awful. However, the dev company, War Gaming, is an absolute nightmare that is abusive and hateful of their playerbase, so do not expect much from them other than toxic crashgrabs and hollow apologies.

Look here you idiots out here making a video game into some "SJW" ♥♥♥♥, Im sorry that this isnt Trump Simulator 2020 and that characters within a fictional universe arent strictly military, but honestly this is a solid game. Takes me right back to the TIE and X-Wing games of my early childhood. You have an issue with the campaign? Well, let me explain this crazy concept: this is a game based around multiplayer, the story is a bonus, something that was very nice of the devs to throw in. You want a game based around an indepth story? Go play JFO. If you want to fly starships in star wars, blast imps into vacuum, or revel in pretty solid graphics, this is the game for you, just keep in mind that this isnt the next of the movies so if you go in thinking it will be damn right you'll be underwhelmed and mad. Also, all you trolls--if you think this has "SJW" stuff, wait till you see the original three movies.

I've sailed for many years and my knowledge of the Golden age of Sail is rather extensive, thus I was thrilled when I heard about Naval Action. Having bought and played the game (around 65 hours at the time of this review) I love it. There are somethings that I think should be in it (for example: wind should be blocked from you when downwind from a larger ship), but it is still Early Access so this can easily be fixed. I think any fan of the Golden age of Sail should buy this game. However, this comes with a warning; if you buy this game find a good clan to join as it is very hard to progress through the game and to learn all the game has to offer without the support of more experianced players.

this game is okay, however it is a little out dated. still one of the best realistic FPS out there.
