It's a pretty cool lil game! I think it nails both the ARG and the unfinished N64 game aspects of it, with an extremely fitting atmosphere surrounding it. I'll admit I haven't deep dived the 1997 mode yet, but it regardless felt like a very mystical experience. Only thing I don't like is the coconut minigame - the other ones kept me on my toes, but that one just felt boring and tedious, and it's sadly the first one most players'll play.

lowkey fun as hell if you keep your wallet safe and hidden but i was in 2nd place, i hit a booster, and the game somehow thought i was going out of bounds and 'restored' me to sixth place. ♥♥♥♥

game already had issues during its early life (such as combat feeling incredibly hollow and unrewarding and the interface being atrocious). not only did 1.0 not fix those issues, but they made it worse by removing item crafting paths and forcing you into a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ squad mode where you fight bots with bots

-your character either is incredibly overpowered, or a walking trashcan. balanced Hypers are not a thing it seems.
-bound to the ground, which means that projectiles will hit you 95% of the time with absolutely no way to escape them
-selling recolors as "SKINS" is not really cool
-impossible to find a regular match outside of north america
-cancerous community
-forgettable characters and plot
-Ryta and Sapitelbub should burn in hell

It's starting to get boring, devs spend more time in making "skins" and new crappy Legends instead of fixing severe bugs ("Steam Must be running", if you know what I mean)
