I'm leaving this here as a deterrent to anyone wanting to get into DarkRP.

Garry's Mod DarkRP is quite litterally what happens when you take everything bad about Garry's Mod and it's playerbase and combine it into a single gamemode.

Playing the gamemode is like smoking 3 packs of cigarrettes a day: you're constantly hurting yourself and it's not fun but you can't stop because you're addicted (Trust me, I've been down the rabbithole myself). So do yourself a MASSIVE favor and stay well clear of this hellhole and go play some actual fun gamemode!

Looking past DarkRP it's a really solid game that has stood the test of time and you should definitely consider buying it!
