The game is fun, but Techland massively F'd up the game in it's current state.

been looking forward for a sequel since the first game and its 'The Following' DLC came out. NO, i didn't pre order the game however i've been keeping a close eye on the game's launch. i have to say this, but im utterly disappointed.

i have to constantly restart my game to make sure the mission progresses properly, otherwise im softlocked. other than that, alot of basic features as a MANUAL SAVE or even a check point system is not in the game. instead, what you get is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ auto save every 5 minutes option and the inability to load previous save points, forcing you to play through a single save file. as a result, at the time of writing my first negative review for anything ever, my playthrough is completely bricked and otherwise hardlocked out of the story progression. all because techland didnt make sure the game atleast functioned before selling it full price.

i loved the first game and i had lots of fun running around Villedor, but the bugs and lack of the most basic features is unbearable.
