This might take you a while to get into. When I first got the game, I played a couple hours and liked the atmosphere, but wasn't too gripped. It was only later when I had seen a couple videos on it that I thought i'd give it another swing and I have greatly enjoyed it since then. The world is expansive, there's a wealth of lore, characters are unique and interesting and the combat and movement system is very rewarding when you get the hang of it. Some things in it will drive you insane (primal aspid I'm looking at you), but with enough time and patience you can overcome all the obstacle in this game. It's got some of the best boss fights I've played and by the time you reach the pantheon, the fights you had so much difficulty with in the early stages of the game will seem like child's play in comparison.
Your patience will most certainly be tested at times, but if you can overcome that, I'm sure you'll have a great time.
