Amazing game but some questionable things. Just finished the game and I had a blast but there are some things I'd like to address. For one, you cannot (or at least I could not) swipe around the map with my mouse, I don't know if this is a bug or not but it was really annoying while trying to explore. Also when walking close to one of Dimitrescu's daughters, my frames immediately took a dive, which made encounters with them a bit awkward. But both of those things are nitpicks at worst, and barely take anything away from the masterpiece that is this game. I really enjoyed the combat and exploration, as it is kept basically the same from RE7, although there is a much bigger world to explore this time. I also really liked the Duke's shop and the currency system, as it was satisfying to sell all my hard earned treasures and upgrade from the money. Story had me very emotionally attached, more so than and RE game before. Overall 48290342/10 would recommend (just fix the map).

Amazing movement, awesome combat, and and a vast and open world. Lore is given in bits for the player to piece together. The feeling of progression is super satisfying and you will have a hard time putting the game down after starting to play. Definitely worth playing and even completing for those brave enough. 324502572430/10 would recommend.

Good game with tense atmosphere and scary monsters, but be prepared to run around, not knowing what you're doing for a sizable amount of time. The hints for the objectives are somewhat vague, but I still figured it out eventually nevertheless. Story line was good with hints to the original while gameplay mechanics somewhat differed from the original, but in a good way. Overall would pick up if you are looking for a good scare but also a challenge.

Fell in love with this game within the first hour of playing. Satisfying gameplay while being quite difficult at the same time. Perfect balance between difficulty and fun, and I have yet to get frustrated at this game while playing, even after dying multiple times in a row. The only aspect I wasn't in love with were the golden feather things, but I got the hang of them after some practice. I am now in the process of collecting all the strawberries and hearts, and plan to 100% this game. The story is also extraordinary, and the story and the gameplay complement each other perfectly. The gameplay is fun, the characters are likeable, and most importantly, it's a platformer that doesn't make you angry.

10/10 would recommend if you are looking for a light-hearted yet challenging game.

Overall a good game, good scares, tense atmospheres, fun puzzles, and stressful chases. 10/10 would recommend. Better than Outlast 2.
