Tbh the AI always make repetitive and ridiculous ship designs on campaign and ruins the battle experience for me.
Hotseat would work with just making the battles controlled by AI on both sides.

There is still some weird and obvious bugs that still haven't been fixed. For example if a large shell penetrates the front corners of a ship from a rear angle the shell penetrates basically the corner but not the ship nor does the ship show any visible damage.

The AI controlled ships also fail to avoid torpedoes. Even if you design the ship to be more capable to make the turns.

This game is 10/10 The soundtrack is made by Machine girl, so you will most likely want to dance while playing.The story keeps you interested and captivated from the beginning to the very end, only letting go of you when you head right back to the main menu. The main menu music is perfect for you to reminisce on your experience playing the game.The characters are all simply lovable... Violet and Red a little more than the others....

Basically the same as AOE 2 but with star wars. They need to upgrade the graphics for it to be modern however.

Amazing soundtrack.

Unbelievably better than ck2. A lot of replay ability and the flow of the game as you continue is just fast enough!

The game is fun, and I enjoy playing this everyday. I love the unique parties and nations. But I am only giving this a thumbs down because this game does not have hot seat. Hot seat would allow for new players to be able to quickly learn how to play the game and be able to play multiple play styles without having to do one game at a time. Hot seat would allow for it to be much easier and would help allow for you to concentrate more on competition against the other countries as that is the way to win by being able to get 100 trophy points before any other nation can, I do hope that they add hot seat. if not then I will continue to keep my review a down vote.

1: The game play is extremely not fun, it fails to be as fun as Magic or pvz heroes.
2: The card abilities don't go well with the way the game works. Bombers don't get effected by anti air when you attack with them and anti air is literally considered by the game artillery and works like it. wtf?! The smokescreen ability is the only one that goes good with the game, all the others are easily exploitable or out right useless!

I see no fun in a game so bland but has so much opportunity! Hopefully next year they make the game play more reasonable and filled with actual strategy to make the card abilities actually fun to use!

btw if you find yourself playing this game then I would like to advise you to play against the AI, you can complete your challenges by even defeating the AI. I don't know if that was intended to be in the game.

yesterday i was going to rate this game a 9/10. But i changed my fricken mind! Why the frick do you guys not give a flying frick about the stuttering in the game?! It is absolutely unplayable, i am greatly disappointed as i have pre-ordered this game a month ago hoping to get something fun taking place during the classical times. But it just lacks detail and extra things to do like I don't know, maybe getting more chain events or being able to do more things with the characters and political policies. Speaking of the political policies, you guys need to add more on that, and the effects are just too radical to the point where I just don't want to change it.

Most importantly, fix the fricken stuttering. it stutters when a single day passes by and i know dam well that my computer can run the game. You guys fixed the stuttering for Stellaris and Ck2, now its time for Eu4 and Imperator Rome.
