The controls for Valve Index are a bit wonky but its still a fun little game if you want some silly in your life.

I really wanted to like this, but I just cant. The movement is incredibly slow, and there is no locomotive options. The "float" movement is half of walking speed at its fastest setting. A lot of the art is abstract colors and shapes that just sort of look trippy. There were a couple of cool pieces but it wasn't worth the very frustrating movement, vast boring pieces that can easily be outdone in VRchat spaces. Also it crashed 3 times. Not very well optimized.

This is the quintessential VR game.
On top of that, there are many great mods made by the community that extend the play hours way beyond just the base game.

Its very cute and has some nice wholesome moments. The movement feels fun to just run around jumping and climbing stuff. Also nice little character customization changes are possible in the game. Very enjoyable, makes me think back to my childhood.

The story isn't too interesting but the game play itself feels very fluid and the boss battles are fun. The music is very fitting to the Touhou project. You can feel yourself improve at the game as well as your character and its very rewarding to fight off previous enemies with ease that may have given you a bit of a bad time to start.

If you enjoyed the Portal series this is a great addition to your library. It has a lot of the same whimsy as Portal 2, as well as some great puzzles for solid game play. It has a lot of personality by having a new character interacting with you throughout the whole experience. Fantastic game, and does not overstay its welcome by any means.

This is one of the 'Must have' games for anyone with a VR headset. The game itself can be a little clunky/buggy at times but it comes with the territory of such a innovating genre. The story is very meta but it mostly takes a back seat to the game play. There is a lot of replay value in exploring the levels and seeing the different ways you can beat it. Can you use just a melee weapon and try sneaking around? Or should you go with precision with duel pistols? Or just go gun blazing with rifles and hope you meet your mark? All of these are viable options and can be fun experimenting with. Some of the more intense parkour obstacles in game can be more tedious and frustrating to overcome than fun. However they are mostly reserved to more dedicated players as side routes for some hidden weapon or props. The game also has a very immersive world with lots of little Easter eggs hidden all around you. Even when you beat the main story there are sand box worlds you can play that are just as fun if not more so because of the things you can explore in them.
Despite its flaws it is one of my favorite VR games of all time, and I believe it should be a shining example of what VR games should be.

The art style is great and the mechanics are interesting, but the game is just way too buggy and broken to give it a good review. You cant change the controls and the controls are awful. Especially for controller. I could not beat it, not because the game is hard, but because the game is so buggy and broken.
