Early Access Review
Blood west is a very intriguing game with some good mechanics and a great atmosphere. however while I like the game I do feel that there area few things that game could improve on.

-Better detection system: I've noticed even though I'm a good distance away from enemies I can still be detected by enemies and have even been seen through walls. There needs to be some kind of balance with the detection system to where it can benefit the player and feel like they aren't being cheated out.

-Less enemy placement: I understand that the developers want to create a sense of difficulty for the player. However I feel that in certain areas there needs to be less enemies. Right out of the gate by the crashed train I feel that there are way too many enemies. This too needs some kind of balance.

-Combat: right now the combat is not good. The game, at least for me not sure about others, lags when certain attacks are being done by the enemies. especially that lunge attack. I also think that the enemies shouldn't be able to execute attacks so fast as that can really make or break a player from playing. Yes stealth is an option but certain points combat is where you need to get by.

-Way point marker(?): Maybe have some kind of guidance to the player on where they should go. I've gotten lost quite a few times and I haven't even been bale to complete any objectives other than the starting one.

-Gun play rework: The guns are fine but there is a problem with aiming them where the gun slightly waves around when aiming down. It makes it really hard for you to aim for head shots if yo want to avoid combat.

All in all the game is great probably the best game ive seen. There just needs to be a bit of fine tuning for it.

I'll be honest the game is quite fun. It has a lot of mechanics that I do appreciate and that are genuinely interesting. However it all bogs down to if you have friends to play this with. Since this is marketed as a multiplayer game for a genre that many have mixed feeling about, the likely hood of that happening maybe next to none. The singleplayer, stuff while good at teaching you how to play, can get boring after awhile. If you have friends to play this with then I highly recommend it. As for the others well best to steer clear of this game.

Now many of people will say that this game is very fun and enjoyable and it is... after the first few rounds. its all formulaic and majority of the maps are in heavy favor of the opposing side. to me this game is nothing more than a mere copycat of other games that have the same formula but are able to make it enjoyable like For Honor and Mount & Blade. You're better off playing those games if im being honest here.

while its by no means a perfect game, Among Us is a nice party esque game that gets the adrenaline pumping.
