this game is some ass

I was browsing the Steam Store page today, bored out of my skull, hoping to find a gem of a game amidst all thepassable junk. When looking through what was on sale, I noticed KUNAI, a game with a simple enough title and a brilliant art style from the jump. Naturally pulled in by the pretty presentation, I gave the demo a try. Before I had even cleared 5 minutes worth of the demo, I knew this would be an instant purchase. Normally, I'm not a huge fan of metroidvanias, but I was sucked in impossibly deep by KUNAI. I couldn't put the damn thing down. The gameplay is fast-paced and delightful, the kunai grapple feels wonderful when traversing, and the game is packed to the brim with metroidvania secrets. The progression feels natural and the layout of the game's different environments makes moving between locales a breeze. I finished this the game in two sittings on one day but, honestly, it felt like the perfect length. My only complaint is that some of the boss fights were less of a challenge and more of a chore, but the rest of the games many perfect traits make up for this in almost every way. My final score for KUNAI is a 4.3/5, 100% recommendation to anyone you know

Another masterclass in art direction, story, and atmosphere from Supergiant. Hades excels in every single avenue it treads in. The voice acting is phenomenal, as always, and ties the story and themes together flawlessly. The gameplay is super fun! A little reminiscent of Transistor which is absolutely welcome because that game is phenomenal as well. The character designs are extremely cool and the game is basically a bisexual's paradise. If you have been on the fence about buying this game, do yourself a favor and throw it in your cart immediately. You can thank me later.

Holy cow this game is great. Endless hours of fun, so many diverse characters to choose from, and fantastic item combinations to create overpowered builds with which to destroy hordes of enemies. 10/10
(Edit: game is still gas and the new DLC on the horizon is looking like it'll be super sick)

High octane gameplay, vibrant colors, a diverse cast of wonderful character, and SOME FUNKY BEATS. Those are all things that describe this incredible release from Team Reptile which is one of the most fun games I've played in a while. Not only can you play against your friend on the couch, there is also online multiplayer as well as singleplayer options for those who prefer to play alone. Although, I recommend grabbing a friend or three to fully experience the beautiful chaos that comes from this masterpiece. If you're checking out this store page and you scrolled down to this review...WHAT ARE YOU DOING PURCHASE THE GAME ALREADY. 10/10 would play every second of my life.

You slap bois to and fro. Very, very good. Smash-like but has it's own flair. Fish is funny. 10/10

This game is a blast. The best platfrom fighter I might have ever played. If you've had experience with SSBM, you'll defintely be able to get into this. The character variety is great and the beautiful art is even better. Characters are easy to learn, but difficult to master. If you have been considering getting RoA, DO IT. It'll be one of the best decisions you'll ever make.

TF2 is the fountain of which springs creativity, teamwork, hours of playtime, and (if your like me) a ♥♥♥♥ otn of yelling. But, putting all of that aside, it is truly a great game.
